Yes, I did this last year, but it's a whole new vibe right now. I'm all in Texans!! Let's go!

I love the Texans and I'll love them even if it Texanother few years to make the Superbowl. Get it? Texanother... No? I think Nick M's review is funny. He got mad that the Texans lost to the Titans. "A team the Texans have no business losing to." In Sep 2018. Of course, after Nick wrote that review, the Texans stormed the division and won it and got into the Playoffs, while the Titans turned out to be quite good too, and only missed out on the Playoffs in a do-or-die loss to the Colts in the final week. So the moral of the story is: Nick, please write bad reviews about Liverpool FC, about my life, and my music career, and my chances of having a show like Bourdain's, so that all of those things will go well as well. A fantastic organization that will probably start winning things sooner or later. They're doing particularly well this year, too. Might lose out on the bye to New England, but will have a home playoff game by the looks of it, and anything is possible beyond that. First-Hand Experience: A lot of my best friends live in Houston and the hottest girl I know lives in Houston and I've been to Reliant (when it was called Reliant) and yet have never seen the Texans play at home and I really want to. But I've seen them play on the road, when they beat up Atlanta in the Georgia Dome, and it was fantastic. They're one of my fave teams and I love watching them play in person. Awesome! That makes 5 AFC teams I truly love. I don't understand why all my fave teams have to be from the same conference. Pats, Bills, Steelers and Chiefs are the other 4. I guess I do really like the Eagles from the NFC though. Maybe the Seahawks and 49ers too a bit. And Packers. Now that I've seen every NFL team play live & been to every NFL stadium (current and former), time to review them on Yelp! I love stadiums! I've been to every cool stadium in the UK & North America, due to my obsession with travel & sport. I've toured America as a musician for 7 years. In that time, I've seen sports games at (or visited when empty, or both) almost every major stadium in US and Canada. I have pictures of most which I'll upload at some point. Also, on future travels, I plan to take new pix, and add more stadia! Watch this space! ***back to regular review*** The Texans are one of my favourite teams in the NFL. Yes the Cowboys have the fame and the Superbowls and the Cheerleaders and the Stadium and... Wait a minute. OK so Dallas has a good stadium and good cheerleaders but so does Houston. And it has almost none of the hype or drama, either. This is one of the best stadiums in the USA, nay the World. Absolutely fantastic stadium. And you've had some great characters too. Andre Johnson... David Carr... er... Andre Johnson. JJ Watt. Did I mention Andre? Anyway because the Texans are underrated and undervalued and they're very well supported and an excellent and fearsome team, I support them. Plus the city of Houston has always been amazingly supportive to me. The only thing is, though. It Texan hour or two to get out of here after the game.

Writing this as a first time season ticket holder. We were really excited that our name came up on the waiting list, because we were like 24,000 something last yr. whether it was the teams questionable moves the last yr or the economy, a lot of people jumped ship. I am a little disappointed in the season ticket perks. The greatest, IMO are the NFL Shop 30% discount and free mobile Red Zone. We received our season ticket holder packet, which came with a very cheap and crumbled up Texans hat, plastic decorative Texans street sign, a stadium and team "how to" manual, which also includes a list of benefits and how to use them, and a schedule magnet. I thought it maybe should have been more? Maybe like throw in a team yearbook or free Sunday Ticket instead of Red Zone ? It actually might be more than a lot of other teams give. Our seats are in the highest level, but on the 5-10 yd line area. It is actually not hard to see anything, but cameras make it look farther. Parking is seperate, which is kind of a bummer, but was only $13 (before fees) on StubHub, and only a short walk from the stadium. A perk I should mentioned is that the Texans don't force everyone to buy Permanent Seat Licenses (PSL); only those that are maybe lower and/or on the 50 yd line. I don't ever want to be obligated to buy seats, which is what PSL ownership requires, until you sell it. For example the Cowboys make ALL season ticket holders buy a PSL, so thats nice of the Texans.

Oh how I wish I wrote my 1000th review on Texans game day. But unfortch, I was stuck in an airport (ironically in Nashville), hungover, tired, cranky, and thinking about how badly I craved a beer and a little Texans Tailgating action. (With a few Advils on the side.) As one yelper and dear friend of mine, Mike W, once said: "The bandwagon is officially full!" For the non-believers, fair weather fans, posers - I really don't have much to say to you. But for those who stood by the Texans from the beginning, buying tickets and merch, withstanding the highs and lows, (along with high-blood pressure and damn near heart attacks) ... even shedding some tears, this review's for you! #TexansNation #BullsOnParade P.S. Mr. Bob McNair, thanks for my HLS&R educational scholarship back in 2001. You my boy.

2 straight runs at the line. Get a new coordinator. Just garbage. That series against the Seahawks cost the game. Just trash!!!

There was clearly an audience front even though the stadium is 360 and we were in one of the front sections. Great entertainment value with lots going on visually. Fun game. Took about 15 minutes to get through security/front doors when we arrived at 6PM (door opening time). Parking nearby was $40 but rideshare dropped us off right near the line to get in.

It gets very loud at the Toyota center with fans constantly cheering and screaming and rooting for their home team. Plus u have the rowdy rudies who are constantly shouting chanting slogans, keeping the fans in the game. The half time show is a lot of fun to watch with different contests going and usually a half court shot. At this game they had a battle of bands. Also there was aerobic show of dunks. They also had the rockets power girls dancing away and putting up a show. Throughout the game, there is constant interaction with the fans and all of it is displayed on the big titan tron tv screens. Also around third quarter, the cheer leaders bring fan gear and souvenirs and throw them in the stands for fans to catch. It's a lot of fun to attend a game and I highly recommend other yelpers to attend. Plus plenty of food and drinks and souvenir shops, make it a worthwhile visit for all the fans. Go rockets!!! #clutchCity

It was a hot day and a bit unbearable to be outside as the food became high attractive to flies, the charcuterie and some finger foods were meh, the open bar did make up for it. The setting itself is unique, almost reminded me of going to an outdoor wedding reception, with a beautiful green landscape... Parking is plentiful, though it can get busy, so arriving early definitely helps make things smoother. I'll admit I didn't really understand the sport too much and watching it from our designated viewing pavilion wasn't exactly the best view. It was mainly a networking opportunity for our young professionals' group than a sporting event. The fashion was fun to take in. A lot of fancy derby wear (floral dresses, hats, sharp suits for the men) Definitely a good spot for people watching and seeing a bit of the local wealth on display.. Overall glad to have done it, not sure if I'll go again outside of corporate or group events.

For sanctioned fight nights they will put on several a year and tickets can be purchased from the gym or several other locations around town. Turns out, he puts on one hell of a fun fight night too. too. My son and I were looking for a local boxing promotion and I found "Rumble on the Bayou 7" in September. It was held at the beautiful Bayou City Events Center near Reliant Stadium. I bought tickets online that were left for us at will call. The matches were held in a big ballroom with great lighting, spacing and seating. Audio/Video was first class as were all of the people from the promotions that I interacted with. Drinks were served by Hooters of Humble girls and there were additional concessions in the lobby. Bathroom access was also in lobby and was spacious and clean. From the ring announcer to the "card" girls, the event was created to be safe, fun and even somewhat interactive. The fights themselves were good entertainment and well paced between matches. Ticket prices range from $35-150 but every table or seat has a great view. I cannot wait to come back for the next event. Thanks for a great night with my son. Well done Savarese Promotions!
