The original owners sold the salon so we took a break for a bit. A few of the gals we used to use are no longer here, but a couple are --along with some new talented folks. One other nice thing is that all the pedi chairs and nail stations are brand new. The place has been painted and it's looks fresh and clean inside. Pedicures are up a few dollars, but are comparable to all the salons in the area, price wise and in a few cases, they are less expensive. This is our 2nd time back for a pedicure plus one week I also had a polish change on my hands -- to try them. So far, we are pleased with the service and our experience here. read more

The salon is a little out of the way for me, but I don't mind since they have done a good job with the manicures and pedicure I've had there. Even though the place could use a face lift, I don't mind it the way it is because the services always have been good. The staff is always pleasant and it is ideal to make an appointment rather than walking in. It has been busy when I go in on a weekday morning and bring cash since they'll give a discount on the services for it. Every visit has been a solid experience so far. read more

This place is family run and has a very friendly staff. They are Covid compliant and have plastic shields between chairs and technicians. I thought I'd give this place a chance since it's nearby and it's hard to mess up an all white set, but surprises happen all the time. The full acrylic set didn't even last me a whole week, just barely long enough for my sisters wedding. I went back a second time to see if it would be any better and if they could do a more complicated design. I asked for "moon & stars" but instead I received "lines and stars", there was hair stuck in my nail afterwards, and they paid zero attention to my cuticles (again). Lady worked on my mother in law. Getting a mani and pedi. That was fine. It was I believe the woman manager or owner who sits in the first chair on the right. Came in on a wed morning. It busy. A few mins later people came in who are I believe appointments. She was working on a lady and rudely was on her cell phone talking loud. The woman didn't seemed fazed. But I noticed she stopped working on the lady and go up to take care of her appointments. The lady who she first was working on was like where are you... I find that to be very rude. At least communicate properly to avoid and bad service. It made me feel bad for the client waiting. After 10 mins she finally came back to her.. awkward . read more

I went yesterday 10/3. I ask for a full set of acrylic, see picture for example of want I asked for. I had an event to go to the same night and my nail had a few big issues. The nails were uunevenly filed on both hands also a few of the corners of the nails were missing some of the nail dip powder. I paid way to much for the nail service I got. The next day I had to go to another nail salon and paid more Money to have the nails taken off even with them being a new full set. I am extremely unhappy and with be going back to get a refund, I was not able to do that today because they were closed. read more

Had been going there for awhile. Inconsistent prices. Told it was because of covid. Shouldn't a salon always be sanitary?

Went here today with two of my cousins. We all got pedicures and manicures and I got a fill. Two of the ladies that serviced us were very nice and professional however an older lady with a short haircut and bifocal glasses was ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!! My nails were awful. My cuticles were ragged and the polish was applied too thick. One of the pedicure ladies tried to repair her work but it still looked like my 4 year old grand daughter did my nails. We had spent 2 1/2 hours there and I was ready to leave. I will NEVER go there again and I sincerely hope no one else dies either!!!! read more

I came here to remove my Nexgen nails and get a normal manicure done with regular polish. I used to go here for my acrylic nails and was pleased with the services so I thought that doing a normal manicure would not be too bad. The woman (I can not remember her name, just that she is young, has short hair and is small) they put me with seemed to have no sense of how to remove Nexgen. She had put my nails in acetone and foils for a very long time and also was drilling at my nails in attempt to take them off. Which was fine but then she just started to paint over them without even having all of the Nexgen removed or filing down and shaping much at all. I had to point out the remaining Nexgen still on my nails many times until she would try again at removing it completely. After that she started painting again which was its own nightmare. It looked like something I could have done at home myself. Many parts of my nails weren't painted fully and she used a lot of acetone all around my cuticles in the attempt to remove paint she got on my skin and in my cuticles. All around my cuticles was paint that she didnt bother trying to remove. It was so terrible that I couldn't even tip her anything. Would not recommend. read more

I called ahead of time to ask price for gel manicure The man said $22and $5 extra for French. I repeated price and he said yes that's right. Went there about a half hour later. The manicurist started working on my nails. I mentioned I had just called and said $22 for gel and extra $5 for French. She said that's right. Another woman (manicurist told me other woman is owner) said something and manicurist said price is $27 plus $5 because I'm new customer. I asked why the man said $22. Since of course he knew I was new or I wouldn't have called to ask. We went round and round in this conversation. I would have walked out but she had already started and I didn't have time to go elsewhere. Price ended up being a total of $30 (she said she was able take it down from$32) I tipped $5. But I won't go back as I really don't like being lied to. It's so close to where I live was the main reason I tried NQ Nails. I'll go back to the salon I normally go that is further away that charges $28. total for French gel. read more
