She's so gentle and her hands are as light as a feather! I asked for natural look, but also cat eye. How does that make sense? Im not sure.. but she nailed it despite my strange request. My lashes are so beautiful and I feel so confident with them! I love it. But besides my perfectly done lashes, I should point out how amazingly comfortable I was throughout the whole experience! Let me start by saying... if it wasn't for a this wonderful promotion of Katie doing lashes as a new set for nurses, I never would have had the chance to get my lashes because I usually never get them done. I texted her at midnight to make an appointment thinking she wouldn't reply (cause you know it's so late) until the morning but she replied quickly! Her timeliness is impeccable. She's able to work around your schedule! So finding the place... I had to make sure where it was because she has a room inside a salon. It's very cute and very clean for those who are germaphobes. I can see how it could be difficult to find, but she made it easy because she came outside so I can spot her. The process: Naturally, my lashes are short and thin- which is reason why I don't get them done often. But let me tell y'all!! Katie is going to be the one I come back to because I didn't know my lashes could be like this! Throughout the whole session she was soooooo gentle with light weight hands, and she made sure you were comfortable. When I would get them done before, the tapes would poke my eye and it wasn't anything like this. I didn't even know she started laying on the lashes. I fell asleep and I snored so even with all that, she made sure I was comfortable. Up until the end. I am so satisfied with my lashes, I absolutely love them. I gave her the freedom to choose the length and style because I honestly don't know the different styles and she did a good length-cat eye look. They're fluffy and full, but not overly dramatic. Katie is an absolutely phenomenal last artist! She is detail oriented, very gentle, and dedicated to providing her clients with a great experience and even better results. She goes above and beyond to ensure that you are comfortable throughout your entire appointment, explaining every step before doing it, and follows up afterwards to make sure you are happy with your results. The lashes and products she uses are high quality, and I have never had an issue with lash retention. While in the process of moving, I even had a set of volume lashes last for almost 4 weeks, which is almost unheard of! My natural lashes are also still in good shape, even after having my extensions applied by Katie for months. Katie is very easy to reach via text at almost all hours (seriously, she is dedicated!!) so scheduling an appointment is never an issue. She is located inside of Salon by Lori, and when you enter the building, she will either meet you at the door, or another employee will escort you back to her studio. As long as you remember that she is inside of Salon by Lori, you shouldn't have any issue finding her. I cannot recommend NQ lashes enough, and encourage you to schedule an appointment with Katie ASAP whether it's your first time getting lash extensions, or you are just looking for a new artist. I changed my appointment a few times and she was very understanding through it all! She also responds quick to messages which is a plus for me. The room is clean and has nice soothing music which puts me into a good nap while she is doing my lashes.
