I came to Keith on a recommendation from a family friend and I'm so glad I chose him over anyone else. Keith really knows his stuff, and above all else he is fair in his offers. He told me what to sell on eBay and helped me maximize my profit. He also told me to keep sentimental things. I highly recommend working with A&R Estate Buyers for any estate sales. I don't write reviews often, but Keith really deserves more than he has.

When we entered, there was no one visible, so I opened the door and stepped partly inside while trying to figure out whether the store was actually open. The employee came over but did not greet us and instead told me to close the door in a noticeably annoyed tone. My dad showed him the ring and asked whether it was authentic. Rather than actually examining or verifying it, the employee simply said he was not sure but that it was 'probably real' When my dad asked a few follow-up questions, the employee remained dismissive and did not provide any meaningful information or service. The interaction left a very poor impression. We were treated as if we were being an inconvenience to him it's the most rude cold interaction i've ever had at a place of business. I would not recommend anyone to come here. A business who fails to do the bare minimum in treating customers with basic respect is not worth your time.

I had gone back and forth with the seller on price and needed an appraisal to be better informed on the property's value. I received approval from the seller to coordinate an appraisal and after some research found Chicagoland Appraisals on Yelp. I was impressed with the positive reviews I read -- particularly on the service of John -- so I called to see about setting up an appointment. I spoke with John and was further impressed. He answered all of my questions, illustrated his knowledge, and offered services at a reasonable price. I set up an appointment for the following week. John arrived on time, walked me through what he would be doing, and was thorough in his approach. Within 10 days, John provided a very detailed appraisal report. He also followed-up and spent about 20 minutes on the phone answering my questions. He was patient, professional, and polite.
