Every instructor is totally professional and articulate as they guide the class through the routine. They are helpful and always encouraging. The facility is spotless and very well maintained. All the equipment is in top notch order and shape. The teacher was friendly and taught a perfect, easy-going Sunday morning flow. The lights were dimmed and the mirrored wall allowed me to see if I was as aligned as I felt I was during certain poses. The music she selected was great: relaxed acoustic popular music versus the usual spiritual instrumental (both are great, but this was a nice change of pace)! The savasana was my favorite part. The teacher walked around and placed cold clothes infused with lavender oil over our eyes which took me from relaxed to super-zen. I've never been offered that before and it was awesome! It also gave me a way to wipe down my mat once practice ended. Overall, I had a great experience and hope to make this class part of my Sunday morning routine as often as much schedule will allow.

I have also studied at the top yoga studios in the country, and Hot Yoga Lounge is seriously up on the same level as these top studios. I was shocked to find such a gem in Palm Coast (go Palm Coast!). The co-owner Heather is a seriously talented teacher (I mean how many teachers can get 25+ people to show up at 5:45 am for a steamy hot yoga class?) She is great at modifying poses from beginning through advanced students. She will (safely) push you to edges you did not know you could go to. She is also absolutely amazing at teaching arm balances in a very easy and accessible way. I am also big fans of Gillian, Rose, Amber and Karen's classes (Karen is Heather's mom btw!) All of the teachers are really great, I just have had time to go to certain instructor's classes. The best part of class...the cold cloth with essential oil. I mean wow. Such a reward after such hard work. They also have kids yoga classes while adult classes are going on which is great when you want to go to yoga but don't have a sitter. Their Barre classes are also a great workout. I can't say enough good things about this studio. Check it out if you are in the area traveling, and if you're a local get a membership! Their prices are crazy good.

They had me at lift tone burn!…read more This studio is one of the larger ones I've visited and attended class, it is also the newest PB studio in the jax area. It is nestled in the tapestry park area beside Your Pie. Parking is along the back and side of the building and the front of the studio is actually along Deer Lake. I love how this location is very nearby to my work and a few miles from home, I can therefore go to classes before work, lunch break, or after work. Staff/instructors and the owner are great, they're the most friendliest, helpful, and awesome! They are open to their clients and will help with moves and technique. Classes focus on working key muscles that are stubborn and hard to work areas. Class starts with a warm up, arms, thigh work, stretch, seat work, stretch, flatten abs, and cool down. Concept stays the same throughout every class but each instructor changes the moves for thigh, seat, & abs. I love the flow and technique of the class. There are also specialty classes offered - breaking down the barre, bring on the men, intensive thigh, abs, etc. These classes are very specific and great to sharpen your pure barre experience. I've been going to Pure Barre (multiple locations) for about 1.5 years and can never get tired of it. It helped me to tone and sculpt for my wedding back in October 2013 so I'm a firm believer in the workouts and techniques. It's also my Yin to my Yang, where Yin is Pure Barre and Yang is my Crossfit routine in the week. PB is a lifestyle and I'm hooked!!
