I'm so glad I decided to switch up my workout routine and try something new! I've been going to Everbalance for a couple weeks and every class has been challenging and enjoyable. I've met 4 instructors and they are all awesome! Each instructor has their own style, but yet they all give you a great workout and make it fun! All the girls I have met in class are lovely. So far I have tried Barre, Barreless, and Zen Yoga with my unlimited membership. The 50 min classes fly by! I'm so happy I already see some results from these classes. I had to give this AWESOME pilates studio 2 reviews because I took classes @ their Sunbeam location as well as the San Marcos location which this review is for. San Marcos was PHENOMENAL My instructors were Jenna & Ana & they were AWESOME. I scheduled a Private class with Ana for a gentleman that had a stroke 2-3months ago & she had so much knowledge about his condition & how to help him through pilates exercise.She is not only VERY knowledgeable but VERY certified too.I HIGHLY recommend her classes as well as Private sessions.This studio is smaller but in a great location.Lots of outdoor shops,cafes & restaurants if you decide to grab a little coffee or food after class All within walking distance.Place was clean & organized. For the first time in my life, I LOVE exercise! I literally can't wait to go to my next class and am upset if I have to go out of town - Everbalance is that awesome! I've been going for just over 2 months and am in love. And I feel so much better in my own skin. AND I've learned a lot about correcting physical issues I've had (broken neck, etc.). All of the trainers are amazing, attentive, and truly care about each and every member. So far I have only tried reformer pilates (so awesome - and you can go to both Sunbeam and San Marco locations), yogalates with Wendy (LOVE), and zen yoga with Tetyana (almost an emotional journey!). The experience of going to Everbalance is so unlike any other "gym." I've tried Orange Theory, Hard Exercise Works, Retro, and LA Fitness - and none of them hold a candle to Everbalance. It had been a while since I went to a reformer pilates class, but Sheri made me feel right at home. She explained each move perfectly, and she made sure that we had the correct postures during our practice. The time flew by in the class! I was able to purchase Toesox since I didn't have my old pair anymore, even though she offered to let me use them for free. All equipment is provided, so just bring your socks and yourself. I purchased a groupon for 10 reformer classes at $99.00, what a steal! After my first class, I was hooked! I will be purchasing a package once my groupon is complete. This review is for the overall reformer experience. The instructors and staff are very knowledgeable and helpful especially if you're new. Love how they push and inspire to reach past your comfort zone. The reformer class is small, as there are 6 reformer machines. This is a great size to allow for attention to the students. Unfortunately my husband got a relocation notice and we are moving out of state. I asked Tetyana - the owner - about refund of the package I purchased, she said "we don't do refund." The instructors, Sheri and Tetyana are outstanding! I've practiced Pilates for a number of years in other cities and they do not even compare to the caliber found at Everbalance. I previously thought I had some of the best training from previous instructors and not knocking them but, wow! The results I am getting from these two are like none other! I've taken almost every class at Everbalance and have loved all of them. I originally came here just for level 3 Reformer Pilates - but ended up taking mat Pilates, yoga, barre, and core fusion classes as well. I've been attending classes at Everbalance for over a year now. I really enjoy the variety of classes they offer but my personal favorites have been the yoga classes. I appreciate that they accept all levels, all ages, and all sizes of people and encourage you to make your practice your own, listening to your own bodies. They do encourage you to try new things so the practice never gets stale, but you decide to go as far as you want. I first found Everblanace on Groupon for their barre classes. I have long been intrigued by barre classes but they are generally so expensive, I jumped at the chance to try them at a lower price (even their full priced classes are cheaper than other chain classes). Despite that, the first few classes I actually took at Everbalance were actually yoga classes. My roommate and I have attended their Friday night class taught by Lauren and their Wednesday evening class taught by Tetyana. The classes are pretty small (the 2nd class we took was just the two of us and the instructor), which is nice (especially because we typically attend Lululemon's free Sunday classes which are super packed). The studio has a really nice setup, very calming and chill. For your first yoga class, you can either take a free class, purchase 4 classes for $20 or purchase 1 month of unlimited yoga for $49 (each type of class they have has a similar deal). I've found the classes to be basic enough that I'm not totally lost but not so basic that it doesn't feel like I challenge. Tetyana is the owner and she's really great. You can tell how much passion she has for what she does and for this studio. Still haven't gotten my butt to a barre class but expect an update when I do! read more

Great first barre class! I found out about this studio from my sis in law who signed up for us to try our first complimentary class. Studio is cozy , but I think they manage since they take reservations for the classes which are small. (Better for the students & teachers in my opinion) They have 4/5 reformers which take a lot of the space. The teacher was lovely & funny, it was a post over indulgent weekend (4th of July) so she tried taking it easy on us even though I felt the workout right away. Perfect class for someone looking to firm up & do something low impact like me after runs. My sis in law loved it & its signing up soon. I wish I could now, but hopefully in future I can do as well. Tetyana was warm and welcoming, which I appreciated because as a newbie, I did not know what to expect. She made suggestions about what classes I should begin with, and then graduate to more advanced classes as I become more experienced. Shopped around for the "right" studio for a month and am happy to have found Everbalance. The studio is beautiful and larger than others I've been to. They offer different types of classes at beginner, intermediate, and all levels: the newest MOTR class, mat, reformer, and chair pilates, yoga, barre, and other fusions and more focused yoga/barre classes that emphasize on core/cardio. The owner, Tetyana, is so invested and even helped me come up with a workout plan that tailors towards my fitness goals. There's something here for everyone and all of the instructors are so friendly and take the time to modify/correct body form so the correct muscle gets targeted (something I often struggle with)! At the start of any class they'll even ask if there's a specific group of muscles you want to work on--everything here is just so personal and you'll get the individual attention you need. They also offer extremely reasonable pricing options (best in town), and even extend military/student/teacher discounts to make things even better! I used their promo for an unlimited week of classes to sample and they are all amazing. They even offer free reformer consultations, which anywhere else would be around $70. Also "first time classes" are free, so you can figure out which classes work best for you!
