If you like the spiritual woo-woo and want to sit around and meditate this studio isn't as much for you. They really get after the fitness aspect, which I really like. I mean- taking your clothes off for yoga...How could THAT help?... Well, I decided to check it out for myself and I am SO glad that I did. At first I was slightly uncertain since I was the only woman in class, besides the Yogi Luna. Doing nude yoga for the first time...I am sure others might respond the same way. I was 100% down to try it, but I was pleased when another woman arrived just as things were starting. Yay solidarity! I quickly learned that being naked, while important (if you are comfortable enough to do it...nobody is going to pressure you.) is NOT anything that you even have time to focus on. this was a professional and soul freeing experience. Professional in that you are being taught by a professional, Luna. You are so busy concentrating on the proper poses while doing the proper breathing, that you don't have time to focus on the lack of clothing. Luna is sure to watch the class to determine if you need to modify your experience as well as to be "security". I spoke with her after class and she informed me that certain poses produce certain ...natural "results" from some men, but anyone trying to use this class as free "entertainment" will be quickly asked to leave. The soul freeing part of this experience is evident from start to finish. You start fully clothed and do a few basic poses. The" freeing of the layers" is incorporated in a very natural way. Again, you only remove what is best for you. I went all in. What i got out of the class was a different and rhythmic type of stretch and flow. It was lower lit and there was pleasant music that didn't overpower her class. I loved this experience and I WILL be back. I highly suggest that you open your minds to enhance your bodies and try this unique experience. I mean...we were born naked so how can THAT be wrong?

The teacher was friendly and taught a perfect, easy-going Sunday morning flow. The lights were dimmed and the mirrored wall allowed me to see if I was as aligned as I felt I was during certain poses. The music she selected was great: relaxed acoustic popular music versus the usual spiritual instrumental (both are great, but this was a nice change of pace)! The savasana was my favorite part. The teacher walked around and placed cold clothes infused with lavender oil over our eyes which took me from relaxed to super-zen. I've never been offered that before and it was awesome! It also gave me a way to wipe down my mat once practice ended. Overall, I had a great experience and hope to make this class part of my Sunday morning routine as often as much schedule will allow.

This was THE most nourishing, yummy, relaxing yin class I've ever been to. I felt held, connected, and completely at one with myself. Misha was so nurturing in how she flowed through this class, the music was absolutely perfect, and afterwards I felt grounded, present, and tuned in. This was a very very special class! 2nd class was Pilates Express with Maria. Wow! This woman is STRONG! It amazed me how she presented the poses, how detailed she was, and how challenging it was to do the poses! She gave nice alternatives to be able to maintain the form, and her knowledge and precision was incredible. I left feeling like I definitely got a great workout in! I appreciated her being able to give some individual attention to help me correct my form when I was losing the shape. Both of these teachers were so very lovely, and the space itself is welcoming, nourishing, with a powerful energy of healing and gratitude within it. So far in my experience of St Augustine's yoga studios, this is the best. I'm grateful to have found it! Also, as a bonus: there are clothes for sale in the small boutique that are REASONABLY PRICED! This is something so lacking in many studios who charge so much for clothing. I love that they have these reasonable prices for clothes here!

I was thrilled when…read moreI started to see the old tapas restaurant in the neighborhood being completely renovated, to be replaced with a chiropractic and yoga clinic. They shrank my drive to seek treatment considerably! They've done an excellent job setting up their office as a relaxing environment. Dr Jon is great. He has a chill demeanor to him (which I think is important part of treamtent), listens to your issues, and can adapt his techniques to fit your needs. I've gone in several times with acute pain, which he can normally correct in one visit. Only once that I can recall where I needed to to go back two days in a row. Other times, I go in when I'm feeling a little stiff or notice I've lost some range of motion, and he goes to work on the problem. I've been pretty lucky that they've been able to squeeze me in within a day or two of calling for an appointment, but I have a feeling those days will be ending soon. They're getting a lot busier now. I suspect I'll need to book a more regular appointment, instead of waiting until I feel something off. I wish them continued success!
