My in-laws were coming to town and had their Sunroof shatter on their Ford Edge. Although Troy is closed on Saturday he worked extra hard Friday night getting the right Sunroof delivered and worked Saturday to install it, so my in-laws could drive home Sunday. Driving to Logan from Arizona a huge rock or something hit my windshield. It really made a huge hole that needed a replacement windshield before I headed back to Arizona. I called NOVUS and got scheduled the next day. Filed with my insurance and thought it was all good. Then come to find out, He thought he had the windshield in stock, but my speciality windshield wasn't anywhere in Utah, and no other place in town could get me in before I had to go back home. Troy said he had one in Burley, ID. He went there and got it for me and got it installed before I headed back. This is quality and customer service at its finest! Troy is a nice enough guy, but the service we received was disappointing at best. Paid $275 cash for a replacement windshield on my Kia Soul. 5 days later as we're driving down the freeway, one of the side strips holding in the windshield goes flying off. His explaination/excuse was the clips were loosened when they had to remove the strips to replace the windshield. Unacceptable and unsafe. WE had to order a replacement, since he didn't offer and obviously didn't want to. Now we see the other side panel is also coming loose, so we have to replace both. We also got a rock chip he made a sad attempt to repair that looks absolutely no different. So I guess no warranty. He was referred to us by CarSmart. We will NOT be going back. Highly DO NOT RECOMMEND. Go literally ANYWHERE else. read more

We were on a road trip to Bountiful Utah when a big rock hit our windshield. couldnt see any cracks. Then 2 days later I see it's cracked from the chip and now the crack has traveled 5". I called the number that BMW said to call. The owner of the company said someone would be out first thing the day after Christmas. When I let him know that the crack is traveling he said I'll come over right now so it doesn't crack any further and cause you to need to replace the windshield. Mind you, this was Christmas day! That's customer service! Beyond that he saved me $100 from what Safelite wanted to charge. Do yourself a favor and put their number in your phone for when you need it most! Great shop to get your windshield replaced and then some. I was ten minutes late but then he was also late 5 minutes. Once he got started he noticed my hood was lacking in hood struts so Troy offered to order and replace them which I was so glad to have that done. Also on my list was replacing the low beam headlight on the drivers side and polishing both headlights inside and out. Troy ordered the headlight and polished them up nicely. The extras were all done while waiting the required hour for the windahield to seal. So I left this little shop completely taken cared of in just a couple of hours. I don't normally leave bad reviews, because I know accidents happen, people have bad days, etc. But I just wanted to warn anyone. This place would not have been our first choice, but we bought a car through a dealership and when we bought it the windshield had a crack and this is where the dealership sent us to get it replaced. A week after it was replaced it rained and we discovered our car had leaked. Our first thought was that it was our newly replaced windshield so we took it in the next day to get it fixed. It was there almost all day and they claimed they checked everything, sprayed it with a hose and swore up and down it wasn't the windshield. On top of it, they were condescending saying "That will happen when you leave the window cracked open" and "I bet you left your door open". I knew that we hadn't. But I already had waited there longer than I wanted to, because they supposedly left my door open while spraying it with a hose and drenched the inside of my car. So we took the car home, and next time it rained, it leaked again. This time we took it to the dealership. They found the problem in thirty minutes and guess what? It was the windshield. At this point we were frustrated and pissed off. We had already missed hours at work trying to figure this out now we had to waste even more time for them to fix the mistake that we tried to get them to fix in the first place. After my husband waited for about 3 hours at NOVUS to fix their mistake, they cracked the windshield. So now we had to wait for them to order a replacement which wouldn't be in until the next day. This is our only car at the moment. They did offer my husband a ride home which was nice, but we were very frustrated at this point, they said they'd call us the next morning once it was done. Took them until 1pm the next day (After we called the dealership to chew them out for sending us here and told them to call NOVUS to make sure they were getting our car done). Now we're honestly waiting for it to rain again to see if we have more problems, would not recommend this place. And worst of all, they didn't apologize ONCE throughout this whole ordeal. Never owned up to their mistakes. Will never ever go back and if our windshield does leak again, we will be telling the dealership to pay for us to get it replaced somewhere else because I will not deal with these people again. read more

Worst experience ever.. Literally had me in tears I was so frustrated. He no showed the first appointment, was an hour late to the second one and then I had to make a third one to take to his shop since he didn't bring the right tools to replace it when he came to my location for the second one. He was willing to drive me to work while my car was in the shop and drive it back to my work when it was done but that's the only sort of appropriate customer service I received. I have only had the new windshield for 4 months now and it literally just cracked all the way across this morning. No warranty. Never returning here again. read more

Well I missed the appointment but he called later and I told him I'd had to wait cause my wife just left town and I needed to watch my kids and I couldnt do without my car. Talked to Troy several times about a rare car that needed a windshield. He was so patient answering all my questions. He researched what he could find and after not being able to find a windshield, he was the ONLY place in Logan willing to put in a used windshield that I was able to find. He gave me tips on how to transport it to his place. I understand there are no warranties but I was really happy I could have a professional do it instead of attempting it myself since I only had one shot at it. There are no windshields for my car made at all any longer and nothing that will fit. I was lucky to get a used one. Troy took time to clean it and fix the rock chips it came with to make it work so we can drive the car. I will totally recommend Troy and Novus glass because he was most helpful and kind. read more
