I've never used the actual hotel here, but I do eat here on a fairly regular basis. Their breakfast is an all you can eat style buffet, offering the typical full english cooked breakfast, along with continental options like cereals, fruits, yoghurts etc, not to mention the usual tea, coffee and fresh juices that tend to be served with breakfast. I would say that their breakfast food is of average to high in standard, but I have had a better fry up in a little cafe. The room they serve breakfast in is large and airy.
The restaurant food is very good, and I would say that this is a nice place to go to for an evening meal, but the food they serve at the bar is terrible. I once ordered an omlette that was bland and tasteless and it was definitely not worth the money, especially considering that the prices aren't cheap.
I have also found that the staff are not at all friendly - they are stuck up and snooty, they don't seem particularly interested in customer satisfaction and are more concerned with taking money from you and getting rid of you. read more
