Paid a bit more than £300 for this room, it was absolutely not worth it whatsoever. I couldn't find one good thing about the room. I'm not going to Pay £300 for a USED room that's not been cleaned whatsoever. My first time using premier inn... never again! The tea cups weren't even cleaned and had debris all over them!! It's more like a hostel to me, than an actual hotel due to the state of the room. I would have rather booked holiday inn, if I knew this is what I was going to receive. The upstairs holiday makers were stomping about the room all night, sleep was very hard to get. Never again! Don't stay here!

The room was clean and pleasant, and a good night sleep was had. There is a restaurant onsite and whilst I went out for dinner I did try there breakfast which as you would expect offered everything from fruit to a full cooked breakfast and yes you can have as much as want.

They would do well to tile the walls in something bright (and easily cleaned) and getting a real toilet that doesn't have a loose seat! However, I was thankful there was air conditioning! The breakfast was decent. Not a ton of selection, but enough items to get your tummy full to start your day. The staff seemed harried the day we checked in due to a wedding, but still did their best to help. Thankfully there was a bar there so we could have a little nightcap before bed. :)

I've never used the actual hotel here, but I do eat here on a fairly regular basis. I would say that their breakfast food is of average to high in standard, but I have had a better fry up in a little cafe. The room they serve breakfast in is large and airy. The restaurant food is very good, and I would say that this is a nice place to go to for an evening meal, but the food they serve at the bar is terrible. I once ordered an omlette that was bland and tasteless and it was definitely not worth the money, especially considering that the prices aren't cheap. I have also found that the staff are not at all friendly - they are stuck up and snooty, they don't seem particularly interested in customer satisfaction and are more concerned with taking money from you and getting rid of you.

Guided tours are available around the house and packages are on offer for either the house tour or full access to the park depending on budget and interest. They also offer fun days ranging from cars to fun activities for the children including crafts. It also offers in the ground separate function rooms for different occasions to hire. The negatives are the pricing. Separate packages you choose works out quite costly. Totally inaccessible by foot no bus's covers this area and not very convenient by foot. So unless you have a car you might find it hard getting here.

First & last time at a Concert there! We had been told previous that the parking situation there was a nightmare, especially trying to leave, hence parked at Stevenage Train Station, taxi there (asked about booking a taxi back too be told that there would be plenty there on the return journey). Once dropped off, a mile trek to the stage, up a steepish hill. Left before the Encore in the hope of getting a taxi back to Station, it had started to rain while the Chilli's were on but, on leaving it poured, waited for at least 2 hours for a taxi only to be told by the Police that they were not allowing in more taxi's onto the Park & too walk. The Police at this area were not even local in the taxi area & had to radio to find out directions. We were then instructed to walk at least 2 miles down an unlit country road, cars passed, even the Police in an Incident Van, it was extremely dangerous at 1 o'clock in the morning. At the end of lane there was a proper road, was able to flag down a taxi. Load of people missed the last trains and there was no info given out about where they could stay, but I doubt there was anywhere available. The Taxi driver told us that he had been at the Park once & on the second time had been turned away, he also said that Organiser never seem to consult or even take advice from them on the best way for Taxi access, it was a disgrace. They could of had shuttle buses, people would have paid & it would have got a lot more walking people off the Park, easier, quicker & most importantly safer. Was due to get back in doors around 2am, instead 4.30am arrived! I will be writing to the Park & Police.
