me and family went to a wedding here, the wedding venue was an amazing setting and the evening staff were wonderful , very polite and efficient and extremely accommodating. The food was amazing and because the evening was going so well, we decided to get a room for the night which we retired too. the beds were okay, the room was furnished to a minimum for the money that we spent. it was very dated and very basic for the price, to be awoken on a Sunday morning at 9:40 am by someone with a hammer breaking glass in an adjacent room , it transpired during the evening a window had been broken and maintenance felt the need to change it at this time because it was an ' emergency'. we promptly went to the reception to file a complaint because we thought it was unnecessary and inconsiderate to all the guests who paid to stay at this property, to be woken in such a abrupt and unnecessary fashion, when it could of just been done once everyone had check out.
so going back to out complaint at the reception, we tried to make this point and get them to note that incidences such as this needs to be dealt with in an appropriate manner, the reception staff (greg) became very abrupt, rude and arrogant and told us we HAD to leave. I am applauded at the manner in which our complaint was dealt with (disgusting) read more
