I've worked in health care for 30 years. I've had surgeries, chiropractic, acupuncture, PT,…read moremassage, even hypnosis (which didn't work), you name it. I've seen maybe 15 chiropractors in my life for various back and neck ailments. Half of them were no good. The other half were good and brought the ongoing relief that I needed. Dr. Piokowski is in the top of that group of excellent chiropractors. He's patient, takes extra time to explain what he is going to do, and manipulates you with only the right amount of force to adjust you. Also, he is a great guy and anyone who brings his dog to work will put you at ease right away. As an example of his focus on you, during one visit I thought I was done and headed to the exit. But something didn't feel quite right in my neck - I think it stiffened up again before I made it out the door. He immediately called me right back into the room and made the extra adjustment and asked me to wait five minutes to see if my neck was going to stiffen again. Truly focused on your health. And I don't even write that many Yelp reviews, but I wanted to be sure that you know that he is good, very reasonably priced for those of us who have limited chiropractic insurance coverage or pay cash, and you will get the cracks and relief that you need to get back to your normal. An excellent practitioner.

He is an exceptional chiropractor, and I always leave feeling better. I've seen Dr. Eric several times, but here's a story: I once blew out my back so badly, I couldn't stand without help. I had to lean on my wife to get to the car, and I felt as though someone was stabbing me in the back every time I put weight on my feet. I texted Dr. Nick who was on vacation, and he called me in a few minutes saying, "Dr. Eric will meet you at the bottom of the stairs in the Burke office. Just call him when you get there." Boom. We made the painful drive, and Dr. Eric met me at the bottom, pulled me out of the car and actually had to carry me up the stairs. He gave me instant relief and helped me survive the next few days until I could get back to have another adjustment, which again, was a lifesaver. Together, these awesome doctors (and humans; they're both amazing guys) are exceptional at what they do. They have saved me from back surgery, and I am able to stay active and enjoy life as a result. I've been to other chiropractors, and none are remotely close to Dr. Eric or Dr. Nick. I consider myself fortunate have met these gentlemen. They set a high bar for excellent care and great relationship with patients. I don't know what I would do without them.

I have been a patient of Dr. C for several months now and I feel blessed every time I am adjusted. I have been seen for my back by many physicians, and unfortunately, everyone is quick to prescribe medicine to help numb the pain. Once that medication is done, the pain comes back so what's the point? A friend encouraged me to give a Chiropractor a chance and pointed me to ACT Wellness Center. From the moment I met Dr. C and his staff, everything just felt right. The focus was on relieving my pressure, aligning my body, and educating me on back/joint health. I feel like a part of Dr. C's family when I attend appointments. Dr. C listened to my concerns, assessed me, and provided me with a clear plan on how WE can achieve the goals WE set out as a team. He is the most genuine doctor I have come across and its noticeable with every person he interacts with. The environment and staff are very professional, welcoming, flexible, and caring. Good vibes! I can walk without compensating due to pain, my posture has improved, I have a much better understanding of how to better care for my body, and my pain has been reduced. I am happy to share this because my quality of life has improved because I trusted in Dr. C and his staff. I highly recommend anyone reading this to take the same leap of faith I did, you will not be disappointed!

I'm terrified of needles but did something to my upper back and neck that I was willing to try anything. I found this business through yelp, they took my insurance and had availability! Score in all fronts. My first appt went well; Dr. Sullivan walked me through everything, explained things and answered all my questions. He even took the time to show me how the acupuncture works and assured me while I'd feel a slight pinch the needles wouldn't cause me tremendous pain... I decided to try it and boy am I believer now!! I've told everyone about him and acupuncture. My moms been trying to get me to go for years now and now I finally understand why. He…read moredoesn't just focus on adjustments, but your body as a whole, with a lot of emphasis on mobility and exercise. Earlier this year I hurt my back so bad that I collapsed from the pain. It hurt to walk, stand and sit. After a painful weekend I went to a chiropractor. They gave me the wrong diagnosis and recommended several visits a week for 5 months, at ridiculous prices, even though their adjustments barely worked. After two visits I just quit and went looking for another chiropractor. That's when I discovered Prestige Chiropractic and started feeling better by the second session. The difference was like night and day! Dr. Pauley is also the most honest chiropractor, and it shows. He doesn't recommend useless treatments and an excessive number of visits just to get your money. He gets straight to the point, and focuses on the issue you're dealing with. He treats the root cause of your pain, not just the symptoms. He also gives out homework exercises, which are very helpful. 12/10 Would recommend!

But one day after a heavy lift at crossfit, I asked Dr. Pauley - who crossfits with me - for stretching ideas, and he convinced me to come in for a consultation. I'm really glad I did. He had me bring in my latest ex-rays, went over my medical history and back surgeries and explained in (laymen) detail his suggestions for adjustments to not only help with the temporary issues from lifting, but also a more sustained adjustment regimen for a more preventative maintenance approach, all tailored around my spinal fusion and my comfort level. Two years later, I have a standing monthly appointment with Dr. Pauley, I'm constantly learning new traction/tack&floss/stretching techniques from him (aka he stays current in his trade), and when I do need to adjust my appointment, he's always amenable, responds quickly. Dr. Pauley works with quite a few insurance companies, and also has competitive prices for those who choose not to use insurance, or their visits are no longer covered. Prestige Chiropractic has also expanded its survives to include massage therapy, which I definitely recommend before you get adjusted.
