I used Nova cleaning in the past and the job they did was great . After my recent experience, I no longer recommend Nova cleaning. Here is why : Day 1- Their lead housekeeper came downstairs and told me she tossed a thick plastic mat I had in a tub because it was creating stains and it was "only" a couple dollars to replace. I told her the mat was for my safety and to place it back( it also wasn't a couple dollars, it was $20). I went to my kitchen and one of the housekeepers stuck a long lighter in my knife rack. I didn't make my way upstairs until later that evening(I have sprained ankles so my mobility is limited). I noticed they "missed" a room. Neither housekeeper made mention of it before they left .I text Carlos about it that evening and he said he'd sent someone out the following day. Day 2 - The same lead housekeeper came back with two other girls and walked in my house without knocking.They stayed for about 5 minutes then the lead housekeeper came downstairs and showed me photos of the job they'd done on the missed room then left. I made it upstairs that evening and all the lights were on upstairs. I went to look in the room they'd missed.I tried to close the door I couldn't . The lead housekeeper left boxes in the doorway and I couldn't close it . I text Carlos that evening again and he said he'd send someone out again the following morning. I told him to not send the lead housekeeper again as I no longer had confidence in her work. Day 3-Carlos sent his wife . She moved the boxes and refunded $20 for the mat his lead housekeeper took it upon herself to toss A house cleaning should not require a 2nd much less a 3rd visit.Their work is definitely not worth the increase in their price. read more

On Mother's Day I wanted to do something special but different for my wife. I decided to get our house cleaned. I tried this once and the company was very very unprofessional. I heard of Nova and talked to their owner, Carlos about hiring a cleaning crew for the day. He was very cooperative and even though his teams were busy, they were able to send one out. Carlos was very professional and confident that I would be pleased by his team. The two woman team showed up in 30 minutes and went right to work. They were very organized and had a plan in order. The crew had tremendous attention to detail and finished the deep cleaning in 3 hours. My home has never been cleaned so well! There was a time I would have given this cleaning service 5 stars! I was a loyal customer for MANY years. However, their customer service declined significantly. Their communication from the main office was not prompt and often rude. I had health reasons and had to reschedule a few times and they never said it was a problem. And then one day, it was suddenly a problem and they said they were taking me off the cleaning rotation. No warning. No asking me for more notice than one day prior (which is what I always gave them). Just dropped me and refused to answer messages or calls when I asked for a reschedule or different day of the week. I always paid, I always tipped around various holidays, and I recommended them to dozens of people. I was very flexible when they needed me to be, especially around and after COVID lock downs. Honestly, I am disappointed, angry, and really hurt. This is months later and I am still really upset and decided to write a review, something I rarely do. read more

We have been using Nova Cleaning services for over 7 years, and they do a wonderful service! Our house is over a hundred years old, we have very difficult wood floors to clean in the living room. They do a great job on everything including the bathrooms (which always look spotless), the kitchen appliances, countertops, sink, and tile floors. The bedrooms are always spotless and they even do extras that I do not even ask for, like cleaning the mini blinds and they wash my dishes. We've used Nova Cleaning to perform bi-weekly cleaning of our home for over two years now. They have been mostly reliable (coming on time and not missing a cleaning) and they are reasonably priced. But it seems you get what you pay for. They damage our home continuously - bang their vacuum cleaners against our base boards chipping the paint, when they remove the step stool from its closet so they can use it they scratch up the closet door, and they've scratched cabinet doors, too. We've asked them to tell us when they cause damage so we can take care of it immediately, but of course they never do. We've given them numerous chances, but they are just careless. Don't trust your house to them if you care about your valuables not getting damaged! read more

Very poor service. None of them speak English enough to communicate efficiently. It is important to speak the same language so we can talk. Things seemed to get damaged a lot. They acted as they are doing me a favor. I hired you. Thats how it works in America. I think most are illegal too. read more

I definitely would not recommend getting the deep clean, they charge $100 more than a regular house cleaning and don't do anything extra. They did a good job on what they cleaned, but it was 100% not worth what they charge for it. read more
