I've never had a mechanic do that and I truly appreciated it. They kept my car over night as they needed an additional part. Was able to use a vehicle to run an errand and came back to my freshly washed and repaired car. Max was wonderful! We got our annual vehicle inspection done here just a couple weeks ago and, even though we weren't pleased with the results, were happy with who helped us. The inspection itself only took about an hour. That's from the time the car was dropped off to the time of the call saying it was ready. We were pretty impressed with the speediness of their business. Sadly, the car had too many problems with it and wasn't necessarily worth fixing. We really appreciated that, when phoned by a mechanic at Todds, we were told exactly what was wrong, approximately how much it would cost and how long it would take. What we truly appreciated was the mechanic telling us it probably wasn't worth to fix. Normally a mechanic will just do the work and take your money, no matter how necessary it was. So now we're in need of a new car, but at least we don't feel cheated by the person doing the inspection. We were satisfied with the result and service at Todds, but certainly not happy about needing a newer car.

They detected imminent problems with my rear brakes, and showed me the worn pads. They made the necessary repairs with dispatch. The service was friendly and communications were superb throughout the process, and the final price was very reasonable. I am glad I went neither to the dealership nor to Canadian Tire. Two of my experiences - Parts he ordered were correct but delivered to him were not correct hence i had to stay litlle longer he apologized to me even though it was not his fault. The servicemen were also great and knowledgeable. I was told to replace something in my car an year ago by somebody else but Rob explained to me that is not even a part of the car. Primarily not including an oil filter ($7) with an oil change package and additionally tacking on another $5 for shop supplies. Their quoted (by phone) package was incorrect, low by $5. So in the end service costed $122 when I was anticipating $105. Also the entrance was riddled with used valve stems. They also tried to up sell a rust coating package claiming incorrectly that the vehicle was never undercoated. I won't be returning to Mr. Lube.
