When I was in college, I'd come here for a wellness shot- either a ginger or wheatgrass shot before a big test or presentation. I found that these wellness shots wake me up without giving me the jitters or anxiety of coffee. There are other local grocery stores that focus on natural and clean foods, but I have found them to be more expensive than Whole Foods, which is surprising, but true. I've done the math! I haven't had much need for help from the staff there, but when I do, everyone has always been very helpful....it's usually because I can't find something, and they always point me in the right direction, with a smile. They also offer a lot of pre-packaged lunch meals, soups, salads, precooked organic chickens (although I find them to be small, and sometimes overcooked most of the time, so I usually buy a raw chicken and cook it myself at home). All in all, Whole Foods is a great place to get everything you need all in one shopping trip!

I ordered the Bahama Mama on Uber Eats and made sure to click pea protein. I can have whey, but I prefer pea protein (whey is chalky and from what I know, pea protein is healthier). My smoothie arrived fast, but when I looked at the receipt taped to the cup, it said whey (and tasted like it too). It still tastes great. I used to work at a smoothie shop, so I know misprints happen, especially with online orders. Not mad at the workers at all. Just check the machine, because for some people this could be a real diet issue, not just a preference.
