When I was in college, I'd come here for a wellness shot- either a ginger or wheatgrass shot before a big test or presentation. I found that these wellness shots wake me up without giving me the jitters or anxiety of coffee. There are other local grocery stores that focus on natural and clean foods, but I have found them to be more expensive than Whole Foods, which is surprising, but true. I've done the math! I haven't had much need for help from the staff there, but when I do, everyone has always been very helpful....it's usually because I can't find something, and they always point me in the right direction, with a smile. They also offer a lot of pre-packaged lunch meals, soups, salads, precooked organic chickens (although I find them to be small, and sometimes overcooked most of the time, so I usually buy a raw chicken and cook it myself at home). All in all, Whole Foods is a great place to get everything you need all in one shopping trip!

Trufuel actually uses great ingredients, and the açaí comes in three different flavors instead of just one. The best part is that it's not overpriced. A regular bowl was about $13, and a slightly smaller bowl was only around $11. Unlike Rush Bowls, they also offer different bowl sizes to choose from. The service was amazing. Everyone was so kind and helpful, and they even asked if we wanted to sample the açaí before buying it! The whole café looked stunning as well--very cozy, clean, and welcoming. I will definitely be coming back again and again!
