My husband and I love fish cakes so we had to give them a try. They were cod fish cakes, baked just like the window said. They do sell out fast so call to check if it's available or come earlier in the day. They were really good, a little more on the potato side if that's what you're into, but still delicious. I did not enjoy my latte. It was much like drinking a cup of hot milk. Maybe they only use 1 shot of espresso for medium lattes. I didn't ask.... and I also didn't finish drinking the latte. The cookie was 6/10. It was a large and very flat cookie. Not sure what the baking trick is to prevent your cookie batter from spreading out to far and neither do they. The cookie consistency was a crispy around the edge with a soft chewy center. I ate the whole thing. Maybe next time I will try their ice cream but for today I have to say there are other local coffee purveyors I will stick with while I'm here.

There are lots of tables. The sound level ideal as it was pleasant and yet we could have a conversation without feeling conspicuous. The sandwiches were delicious. I swapped half my roasted vegetable sandwich with my wife who had a turkey with avocado sandwich. They were both very good. One thing was that the bottom of mine was soggy but that happens. The turkey sandwich bun was not at all soggy. We enjoyed our drinks and sitting and watching the people go by. The staff were friendly and helpful. You wait for drinks at the counter but they bring food orders to your table. That's a great way to to it as it doesn't take nearly as long to make drinks as it does food. We were walking so I can't comment on parking. I'm sure they have WiFi but I didn't check. I highly recommend Coffee Matters because they've got what I like.
