I'm going the review the process of communication AND the actual towing desperately. The communication... my husband called the Tesla roadside assistance number at 7a on a Saturday to get it towed. They connected him with C&R towing and told him eta was 1.5 hours. 2 hours later, my husband called the towing company and they said the driver would be there in 10mins. Another 15mins passed and no one showed up. My husband called to cancel the tow since the driver hadn't arrived and informed them he would call back after we came home from the family event. * We had to be at an event at 10a and had allocated 3 hours for the whole towing to America's tire company for drop off. Nope, that plan was foiled. The morning communication and extreme delay was very inconvenient. 2 stars for this. I understand if there is an urgent pick up or traffic delay (we live in L.A.) but no communications on the delay and us having to call in frequently for check in was very annoying. Was the man on the phone nice? Yes, polite but the lack of communication on change of eta was not cool. After we returned from the event, we called to report we would be back in 30-40mins. The man on the phone said he can either get someone to go in 30mins or original 1.5 hour eta. This time the communication was way better, he called us right back to let us know it'd be the longer eta. No problem. The driver was on time and efficient. Great service. Gentle with loading the vehicle on the flat bed, got all the tires secured and off they went. Less than 30mins of time. 5 stars for the service man! I don't know what happened in the AM but it was a completely different situation than the afternoon.

My family and I had to leave our vehicle behind an alley and run to find a safe place to find a tow company. I ended up speaking with a nice individual and he quoted us half the price. They came to our rescue and had to bring a flatbed due to the type of vehicle we had. He drove us all the way from Lynwood to the Valley. After going through such a traumatic and sad incident with my Father the Owner of Hawks drove us to our house safely he was kind, compassionate, he kept my sons spirits up and made us feel at ease and just safe. They contract with AAA, so if you call AAA for a tow and are located in or near the San Gabriel Valley, please confirm that they are not sending this company. The driver, Robert, arrived to assist with a tow. He had really bad breath, which I suspect was due to much needed dental work and years of neglect. Despite his unpleasant odor, he towed my car and removed the rear blown-out tire and put on the spare. However, he cross-threaded three of the lug nuts, which I didn't realize at the time. As a result, the tire wouldn't come off. I had to have the car towed, and I had to pay for his negligence and the damage to my car. Oddly enough, when the tow driver arrived to tow it to American Tire Depot, he told me that this happens frequently and that the same thing had happened to his father six months ago. I contacted Freeway Towing and explained everything that had happened. I spoke with a very unprofessional Karen named Linda, who had a thick accent and was very rude. She asked me the same questions repeatedly, even after I had explained thoroughly the situation in great detail and knew that the driver was at fault. She later emailed me an incident report to complete, which I did. I sent receipts, pictures, my driver's license, registration, and other documents that they requested. I followed up several times, including with AAA. After corresponding with another Karen, Nadia Haddad (whom is supposedly a co owner) they denied my claim. They didn't provide any explanation, proof, or rebuttal for their denial. They simply denied any damage or wrongdoing. It's unfortunate that they couldn't own up to their mistake and reimburse me. I did a quick Google search and read their reviews, and it seems like I'm not alone in knowing how terrible Freeway Tow in Monterey Park is. This small business is an absolute nightmare and joke. Had to leave the car at a gas station because AAA didn't have a tow truck for me at that hour. Told me it'd be 5-6 hours.... Not cool so left the car and went home via uber. A few weeks ago we used them and from the dispatch to getting their crew out to the site they were prompt and fast and most importantly very professional with great hospitality. They took very good care of the vehicle they helped us recover and treated the piece of equipment like if it was still new with care despite it being damaged. The young man took my car right away, offered me a seat and began work immediately. He had one other customer there and worked on both of our vehicles at the same time. He took the tire off and showed me the nail embedded in the tire. He completed the job in less than twenty minutes and the cost was extremely reasonable. The other customer and I were both done and leaving at the same time. I would recommend Flaco's Tires & Mobile Service to anyone.
