One day it intermittently began shifting early and bogging down the engine. Leon's Transmission in Reseda told me they needed to witness the problem to diagnose it, but every time I brought the truck in the issue wouldn't show up. Eventually the truck became nearly undrivable, randomly shifting through gears and sometimes disengaging completely. I limped it back to their shop. The frustrating part: the diagnostic process required replacing the burned-out overdrive indicator bulb so the transmission computer could display a trouble code. It took four weeks for them to replace that light bulb. Once they finally did, the computer showed Code 42, pointing to a bad speed signal from the instrument cluster. I asked them to overnight the cluster to a speedometer repair shop in Bakersfield capable of doing the repair. It took nine days for Leon's to ship it. After the cluster was repaired and reinstalled, the transmission shifted perfectly, and four months later it still does. Their transmission work itself was flawless and fairly priced. My only complaint is the extremely slow diagnostic process and poor communication along the way.

I began speaking with Daniel at JMP, he was nice, courteous n helpful, he offered me a great price. I showed up today, I was a bit confused as to where it was at first, but immediately found it on Lap #2. Lol Along with my oil change they did a multipoint inspection and recommended a few other services that I will have done at a later time. The waiting room was CLEAN 10 out of 10, their restroom was SUPER CLEAN, and they even had coffee, tea, hot chocolate and choices along with cookies and snacks to choose from. I checked my dip stick and it was low, looked under my car and I can see the oil drip down. Long story short there oil all underneath my car, like everywhere!!! Lucky i took it to a much more trustworthy shop and there is a video of how they did not tighten the cap. And looking back at my receipt they charged me over $400 for an oil change.
