We have fun selecting the flavors and this was the first time we have tried the Oreo Cookies and cream one. It was a hit just like all the others. Service is always very quick and easy. Needed a last minute birthday gift for a coworker and realized this shop was only 2 miles from me. Wasn't for sure what I wanted and then found the perfect twin tower of cakes. May I suggest: Try their monthly specials!! Sure, I really love their classic flavors (good 'ol tried and true red velvet, birthday cake, white chocolate raspberry, praline, and lemon) but they keep cranking out specialty flavors that keep me coming back for more! So far I always get the Strawberries n Cream, but they've been bringing in Salted Caramel (I'm a HUGE salted caramel kinda gal) and the always droolworthy Keylime (it's a Florida thing). Really delicious. I am not a sweets person but these bundt cakes are to die for. Any flavor is good, my favorite is the funfetti one and the white chocolate raspberry. Classic vanilla is always good and the frosting is actually buttercream which makes it even better. You can get your cake either with less or none if you don't want the buttercream which is a nice option. Even the mini bundt cakes are a good size and go perfectly with some ice cream. My husband chose the white chocolate raspberry bundtlet for himself and the lemon bundtlet for me. The slightly tart lemon cake paired perfectly with the cream cheese frosting. I ate half of the bundlet and saved the other half for the following day. The cake still tasted fresh the next day! I never made it a priority to check out Nothing Bundt Cakes and when I finally did I felt foolish because I love these unusual looking cakes! Bundt cakes are circular cakes with ridges and an indentation on the top that the frosting extends out of. With many cakes the frosting is either way too sweet for me or there is way too much of it and I don't end up eating most of it. With these bundt cakes I am licking the plate clean. The flavors I've tried have ranged from good to outstanding. This is a chain and I've never found a dip in quality once at any location. The cakes are always moist and delicious. They have minis and then they have personal Bundt cakes and then of course they sell normal sized you can share with everybody. They make a lot of flavors but normally my favorite is the lemon one but the flavor of the month is peanut butter with chocolate swirl and I have to tell you that might be my new favorite please please please add that to the menu. Nothing Bundt Cakes is new to me. After learning of its existence in Tampa, I discovered the franchise is all the rave in other parts of the country. Apparently I am late to the party. I had a chance to meet the owners of this location at the Chillounge a few months ago when they were sampling their cakes. I was excited to hear of their opening on my side of town and could not wait for the grand opening. I arrived early for the grand opening and managed to get the lucky number 7 which meant free cake for a year. Yes you read that correctly, the first 50 guests won 1 free bundtlet each month for a year with a purchase that day. I was stoked and so was my sweet tooth. That morning I sampled the marble, pecan praline and red velvet cakes. All of which were very good. All of the cakes are topped with cream cheese which I love but I would love it if they cream cheese flavors varied a little to match the flavor of the cake. I took home the Strawberries and Creme and Lemon. Lemon is by far my favorite but I also enjoyed the Pecan Praline. I am excited to try other flavors as I collect my freebies each month. Not only is the bakery available for your daily sweet fix but you can also order a large cake or set of small ones for your special occasion as well. If you haven't this franchise is definitely worth a try. I struggled with whether to give a 3 or 4, it's a 3.5 to me. The staff definitely is warm and friendly. The cakes are moist and delicious. But I would not likely come here as my #1 bake shop choice because all of the cakes have the same plain crème cheese icing which makes the cakes all taste the same in a way. The uniformity in icing makes the cakes a little one note to me. Update: After visiting on two more occasions, I agree with Charles G and I was a bit too harsh. The cakes are good. Unfortunately the franchise owners do not have control over cream cheese flavors. The shop provides a great service and good desserts. I was greeted by the owner as soon as I walked in! What a nice gentlemen. It was my wife's birthday so I decided to stop in and buy here a cake for her surprise birthday! Who doesn't like birthday cake! He walked me thru the process of lots of options and pointed me to their delicious samples! I got a 10" cake for $43 (including decorations) no tax (since hey don't offer done in). The cakes are so rich and delicious! I got marble base. I had never tried a Nothing Bundt Cake but our daughter had so when it came time for her birthday she requested that we get four of the bundtlettes! Oh my - too cute and of so very flavorful! But let's talk about their FANTASTIC customer service. Over the phone, with Olivia, it was a joy placing my order. She truly handles phone calls with a smile that you can hear. Then the owner (I am guessing on this one but he seemed like the owner) delivers the adorable insulated logo bag to my car due to the COVID-19 crisis. I tried to hand a tip to him for the staff as I already had paid over the phone and I was not "allowed" to add on a tip. He would not take it and then wished our daughter a Happy Birthday. I will be back to this location again and again. I will tell all my friends. The carrot cake one was so moist and I wanted more. The lemon one was refreshing and light.
