The service was great. The store was clean. I would like to give this like a 3.5, my cake was moist and good. I got the white chocolate raspberry because I've been told by 3 different people it's the best cake there. However I basically got a vanilla cake. It had a small 1 cm area of raspberry in it. I sent the picture to my sister and she said she had never had her cake look like that before. I thought they only made one kind because the other one in the case was very far away from the other one so I only thought they made one flavored gluten-free cake, I suggest you put the cakes together so that people will see that there's options other than gluten is a very interesting product to have in a lot of foods. I would suggest this company put out the gluten free cakes as a sample just so that some people can see and taste how great they are gluten tolerant people can try them before they buy them! again, just a suggestion because there was no way I was going to pay six dollars for a small cake and then find out later. It was my first time in the store & the employee made me feel comfortable & she was patient with me. I got a cake for my daughter & it was very moist & the icing was delicious. It all tasted very fresh. They added a few "props" to the cake & wrapped it in cellophane. The whole transaction took less than 10 minutes & that was with steady business for them. The presentation looked impressive & the 8" Bundt cake was more than enough for my daughter's birthday. My only thing was that it was a bit pricey ($36). For that, I would expect a bigger cake & maybe a few more decorations, or a better way to personalize the cake for my 6yr old. Either way, it worked for us but I would definitely have to consider another option if more cake would be needed for more people (bigger event) because it would be a bit expensive. The cake looks very plain and simple: white icing spread in a blooming shape on the sides, and your choice of flavor for the batter. They also give the option of decorating the cake for you, i.e. birthday, anniversary, celebration, etc. The cake was just as good as the last time I had it. The icing has a hint of cheese-cake flavoring, which definitely adds to the sweetness. They recommend storing it in the refrigerator until two hours before serving. That is not a bad thing, however, because they have mastered doing that. The secret here is in the frosting. The actual cake itself is fine. It's very moist, but it's not unlike cakes I've had elsewhere. None of that matters, though, because the cakes are just frosting delivery devices. No matter the flavor of cake you get, there is only one frosting: cream cheese. They are generous with it and it is the most delicious thing I have ever put in my mouth. If I wanted to complain about something, it would be that they don't sell the frosting by itself in gallon jugs. We come here WAY too often. It is our go-to dessert spot. So, to my dismay, when I arrived and waited after calling several times, I was told I have to stand in a long line outside to place my name in line for pick up. Bad thing is, I cannot stand long due to a disability. Having never been inside a NBT before, I was a little skeptical. But let me tell you this is not your typical hard, flavorless bundt cake. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by two friendly workers who asked if I had been in before. After sharing that I had not I received a ton of help and even free samples! They have larger cakes for parties or special occasions as well as personal sized ones. Even tiny ones! I asked for something not super sweet and couldn't decide between the lemon or carrot so I got both. Let me tell you these were two of the most moist, delicious cakes I've ever had. Being someone who doesn't even like cake, I was so impressed. If I HAD to pick a favorite I would say carrot only because the cream cheese icing was to die for. The bundt cakes here are so delicious! Came in the other day for the first time and I wish I would've tried this place out sooner. It is located right by where I live and I always pass it by when I go to Zoe's kitchen so I had to give it a try. Right when you walk in it smells delicious and there is a nice display in front of you of all the different bundt cakes. There is also cute little merchandise you can buy. So the bundt cakes we decided to try were the chocolate chocolate chip, pecan praline, red velvet, the mocha, and the cinnamon swirl. I loved them all! My favorite was the chocolate chocolate chip though because I'm just a chocolate type of girl. They were so fresh and moist. You can tell they make them fresh daily. The cream cheese frosting was also amazing! I can't wait to try more. The customer service was also great. Right when we walked in we were greeted and asked if we had been there before.
