Cheesecake is one of my favorite desserts and going one step further, the Salted Caramel Cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory (CF) is one of my all-time favorites. That said, I've been patiently waiting to try this one from my local Crumbl for a while. The cookie is dense, satisfyingly chewy, and cool (it's served chilled). There's just a hint of graham cracker flavor to the cookie, but it might also just be overpowered by the real stars of the show: salted caramel & cream cheese frosting. Crumbl acolytes know the power of that phenomenal cream cheese frosting and this time there's an additional layer of caramel. As expected, the caramel is sweet, sticky, and chewy. If I have one complaint about the cookie it's this, mine did not really have much sea salt. Crumbl's stock photo shows a caramel pool teeming with sea salt and if you look closely at mine there are only a few specs of salt. This can be forgiven as the cookie is just so damn good! Lee White now requires you to scan their parking app. Your first 2 hours are free and parking starts as soon as you drive in because your plates are being scanned. So it doesn't matter if it took you 5 minutes to find a park and 5 minutes to scan and enter your info, your time starts when you drive in their parking lot. I ordered a rum cake $7, and carrot cake deluxe $7.75. Both cakes were so moist and absolutely delicious. The frosting wasn't too sweet on the carrot cake.
