I was looking for pastries to bring to the office, and I settled on buying two dozen Bundtinis. Online ordering is convenient, simply select your Bundt cakes and a preferred pick up time. There are 12 flavors to choose from, two of which are gluten-free. Some are seasonal. Prices have jumped since the last time I was here, to no one's surprise. Bundtinis start at $34 per dozen, up from $28 in 2023. Online service fee was $1.19 on top of that. Parking in the plaza was hectic. But I managed to arrive early, and they already had my order ready to go. My coworkers and I enjoyed Red Velvet the most, which is baked with chocolate chips. Strawberries & Cream was a nice mix of fruit filling and white chocolate. Lemon was delightful. Chocolate Chocolate Chip was too dense texture-wise but still decadent. Very nice place. The workers were so nice. It was my girlfriend's birthday and I wanted to buy her a whole cake to celebrate and blow out some candles. We typically pick up cakes for birthdays or when friends/coworkers are leaving and each time the person loves the cakes. Every time we have purchased any of the bundt cakes, they have been moist and never dry. We can always rely on the consistency which is a huge plus. I am usually not a frosting fan but I do like the frosting on these cakes. The frosting is a bit rich but I usually take some off and wash my cake down with some strong coffee. Terrible customer service. Ordered the 8 inch bundt cake and a personal. After I paid out the girl "have a great day" and quickly rushed to the back. I took a glance into my bag and noticed that she didn't offer OR at least throw my receipt in the bag. I yelled excuse me but not sure if they could hear me in the back. I used to be a SusieCakes #1 fan until I had "Nothing Bundt Cakes" just recently! The difference between the two shops are this...SusieCakes has a more dense and dry cake with sweeter buttercream where NBC has a smooth, velvety moist cake with the best buttercream frosting that isn't too sweet. I do taste cream cheese more & it's super addicting ! At S.C. I was sold on their red velvet, still love it so much but the cake is more dry than NBC! At NBC the red velvet is luxurious, again, moist cake with teeny tiny choc.chips with every bite. I have tried most of NBC flavors and they are all good! Here are my top fav's with the first being my most fav: choc. Went there today to get a bundtlet and I asked for extra icing. When I asked I specifically told the girl at the register that I really love the icing and was willing to pay however much in order to get extra icing fully covering the top. She smiled and went in the back. When she brought it back it has extra icing but wasn't fully covered. I nicely asked if she could cover it more and she said no. I said I was willing to pay extra on top of the extra that I already paid and she still refused and said they were not allowed to and it was against their policy. When I asked why her only explanation was "someone complained once that we put too much icing on so we aren't allowed to". I then asked if I could just pay for a side of icing and get it separately. She still refused to do so. This makes absolutely no sense. How is there a policy against giving extra icing. I go there 2 times a month to buy cakes for my clients. I feel as tough their cakes deserve 5 stars, and their staff deserve one star . Every time I go, I feel as though the staff is doing me a favor by waiting on me. For such a wonderful ambiance , delicious cakes, the service and feeling welcome is non existence .
