This is a long review but we encourage you to read it…read more Overall, our "Lasting Impression" is that the company was unprofessional and did not deliver what we paid for. JP, the President, was incredibly rude and awful to work with. We rented a large tent (40'x120'), dance floor, chairs, tables, glassware, etc for our 200 person backyard wedding. They created a digital layout for us, showing exactly where the tent poles would land and where our dance floor and tables would be. They also visited the event site twice to make sure the tent would fit there. JP visited the site himself and told us it would work. A crew delivered and set up the tent. They left large holes in the yard which we had to repair to avoid injury to our guests. They also mistakenly put an extra anchor in the yard which we had to ask them to remove. Many of the poles were crooked and the tent had visible stains. When the crew came to install the dance floor, we were told they couldn't install it as previously diagrammed by Lasting Impressions and as agreed to/contracted/and paid for by us. The floor installer commented on how crooked the tent installation was and couldn't seem to figure out how to install the dance floor with the tent poles in place. My father had to spend several hours working with the floor installer, loaned him a tape measure (since he barely had any tools) and helped him figure out how to get most of the flooring installed. In the diagram, the tent poles were shown to go on top of the dance floor. However, when they showed up to install it, they told us that the pole would have to go on grass instead. So, we had a dance floor with a hole in the center, another trip hazard for our guests and not what we had agreed to or wanted. In addition, due to the pole placement, we had to forgo an entire row of our dance floor, which we had already paid for. As for pick up after the wedding, there was no communication. We were originally told Monday or Tuesday, and that they would follow up with an exact time. We emailed and called JP to see when everything was going to be picked up, but never got a response. Instead the truck showed up in our driveway in the afternoon. Thankfully we were home to receive them. Afterwards, we reached out to JP to ask for a refund for the dance floor that his team did not put down for us. Not only did he refuse to refund us, he accused us of making his team wait for us to remove lighting from the tent (they were not delayed) and he didn't even apologize for their error. After a mistake that big, that's the very least he could do. Additionally, when trying to rent everything for the wedding, JP would send us quotes with items missing and inconsistent prices. In the few weeks leading up, we had to follow up with him several times to make sure that we did, in fact, have everything reserved. We had never received a final agreement or notice for final payment so we reached out to them. JP blamed us, claiming he had asked us for the signed estimate many times but never received it. We forwarded him the email where we had sent the signed estimate several weeks earlier, but he never acknowledged it. When JP eventually sent the final agreement, the prices had been raised from the original quote. We asked about it and were told that we were supposed to be charged for an extra delivery charge, so really we were still saving money.  The final agreement was also missing several items from the original quote, including the propane oven that was going to be used to cook our guests' food. If we had not double and triple checked everything, it could have been a disaster. Lasting Impressions was disorganized, hostile, and made promises they couldn't keep. They put their customers in an impossible position because it's too late to make changes or hire anyone else. The bottom line is - don't trust Lasting Impressions with your event, especially something as important as a wedding.

I thought sure that's fine. They never told us they also gave us different size uprights than what we ordered. So, day of, we're setting up and uprights are way too big. We couldn't use a single piece of the equipment. I was very upset with how they handled it after. No phone call, just repetitive emails 2 days after I tried to contact them denying any mistake on their part. No following up unless I kept bothering them. They appear to be very disorganized and just downright don't seem to care about anything but getting their money. There are plenty of other rental business in the area that you can depend on but sorry, this is definitely not one of them.

She is detail oriented, professional, personable, authentic and has a wonderful personality. People kept telling me before the wedding that things will go wrong on the day of your wedding but Megan was not going to let that happen for the ceremony. When I arrived at the venue Megan had pulled me aside with concerns around the ceremony stage as our flowers were placed with little room left for my wedding dress train. She took control, consulted a friend and already had a solution in place to moved the arrangements around *THIS is what going above and beyond looks like and it doesn't stop there. The florist was waiting for the rest of the wedding party to arrive so they could place the boutonnieres and hand out the corsages but Megan could sense the florist was a bit overwhelmed and jumped right in taking charge letting the florist know it would be no hassle at all for her to take the flowers and pass out/pin herself. During our family portraits Megan had found my husband and I to deliver us our specialty cocktails (which were much needed at this point haha). There are so many other small details I am missing from the phone meetings, vow review beforehand, handling our very loud wedding party during rehearsal and before the wedding ceremony. As for the most important part of the day... the ceremony. The words she read really hit home when you are standing up there ready to say I do and she spoke with such grace it was absolutely beautiful. We had our main wedding ceremony out of state but mistakenly realized that we needed our marriage license completed by an officiant registered in state, and the courthouse ceremony process is time consuming (requiring an in person appearance to even make the appt, and then only offering times that are during a typical workday to conduct these ceremonies). Megan was able to perform our ceremony very efficiently knowing that we did not want a lengthy process (and were already wedded). We completed the entire condensed ceremony and papers hassle-free and in one sitting. She charges a really competitive price as well (the best I found after inquiring multiple officiants on Yelp). The hors d'oeuvres were fresh, hot, and tasty. The beer and wine were also good. No cheap wine was served and it was quite tasty. The second party was the annual Christmas party, paid for by my company. We had hors d'oeuvres, open bar, soup, salad, steak, lobster, nuts, Cheeries Jubliee, Spanish coffee, and tons of cookies and cakes for dessert. This was one of the nicest, most complete meals I've ever eaten! Loved every minute of it! Since they prepared 600 meals that night, my steak and lobster were not hot, but they were warm. Both were good, but not incredible. Recommend!

Brandon Stray is among the top tier in northeast Ohio and beyond! What makes him and his company stand out is their ability to custom tailor the entertainment package to YOU, just as the company name implies. The staff includes DJs who each have their own niche and will be matched to the style of your event from soft cocktail to classic disco to hard-rockin' to country-western to karaoke as well! Be careful of DJs who bring home speakers and inadequate sound gear and try to fill a room with clean audio. If something doesn't break, the distorted audio will leave you with a headache. AAYE uses only professional gear from companies like RCF, Electro-Voice, JBL, and others. And it goes beyond just music. To complete the atmosphere, Brandon has one of the largest light shows around, rivaling that of some major national acts. Or he can create an intimate mood just as easily from his huge inventory of lighting fixtures and effects. So if you don't want to worry about this critical aspect of your next event and really impress your guests, you need to talk to Brandon. He takes personal pride and attention no matter how large or small your need and will create not just an event but an experience! Take it from me because he does it just the way I would!

He went above and beyond after finding out that the servers forgot to pour champagne at the tables for our toast and took it upon himself to grab some bottles and start pouring.
