Went in explained what I needed, and the crew immediately got to work to bring my dusty Esteban back to life, an employee by the name of Cole who was working on restoring my guitar was very friendly and informational, explaining each step of the process and educating me as well. Great great great!!! Service from all the members I came in contact with, and will be looking forward to shopping with them in the future! Been going here for over 15 yrs with great service but not that service anymore. My third child…read moreplaying an instrument and we go there for a repair and they were closed mid day . Came back the next day and was told the repair person is only in on Wednesdays. I come back the next Wednesday , leave work to get there right at 11am before they open. They never opened! Waited an hour . Call the phone number and no one answers. The lady at the counter is extremely rude too. Very limited business hrs posted and then they aren't even open the hrs posted both times I went there in a week span. Found a new place to go today and will never be giving my business to this place again.

He found what he had which appeared to be only one, but I asked if he had any other brands. He did some additional searching and located a better mid range string. I would have liked a few more options but I don't blame this on him. The supply chain issues are the reason for limited supply of things in my estimation. With the second option in hand, he looked up the price, gave me a slight discount, and had me on my way. Friendly and knowledgeable. I will use these guys in the future if the need arises. Here lessons are absolutely personalized to each individual. She is able to teach piano to children even as young as 3!!! Located on the Hill in Grosse Pointe, she even offers discounts to multiple siblings who are interested. To do a full rebuild on my tenor he wanted $1k, with $500 up front for supplies (pads, resos,…read moreetc.). After he strung me along for ten months I finally picked the horn up in pieces, the only thing he'd done was straighten the body tube and yank out all of the pads from the keys. He refused to refund any of the deposit, even though he hadn't even ordered any of the pads - claimed to have done half the work. He had previously quoted $140 to straighten the tube, which would require him to refit all of the keys and give it back assembled and in working order. My new tech (who didn't ask for an up front deposit) needed to do a bunch of key fitting before he could put it back together, the thing was a mess. Half the work done, my ass. Eventually he offered to give me $200 back but it's been weeks and he's just making excuses. Yeah, I know that I should have pulled the plug months sooner before he'd done anything at all to it, but I'd always liked the guy and didn't think that he'd backstab someone who'd always been a good customer and had recommended him so glowingly to everyone who asked. I wonder who else he's ripped off; I doubt I'm the only one, and the place looks like he's having serious cash flow issues. Stay away.
