The second was Big League Roofing, Jimmy Myers, one of the owner's came to my home and took measurements and was ready with a great estimate/price. The second and third company had issues using the yelp to communicate. We were able to make a deal quickly and Jim gave me an excellent price with an amazing military discount. Did I mention Jimmy is an Oklahoma native and professional baseball pitcher for the Orioles back in the day? Like other companies, they were prompt at coming to the house and providing a quote. Price wise, their quote was in the middle of the other vendors. One of the reasons I selected them is their communication, availability, and reasonable/competitive price. I was also impressed their quote included the exact same items that my "initial selected vendor" provided. A Better Way did not have the adjusters findings, but their quote covered all the adjuster had listed. That was affirmation to me that A Better Way is thorough. I did some research by looking at reviews, checking BBB, and requesting insurance coverage for the companies. Even though A Better Way is fairly new (I think April 2024), that did not scare me off. My thinking is that a new company would be inclined to do a great job to develop a good reputation as they grow. I was impressed with my communication with Hollis who answered my questions and shared his knowledge. We talked about pros and cons of options with a focus on the prevalent and variable weather in OK City. I wanted to have the roof installed prior to the end of the year. We set an appointment for the day after Christmas. The crew showed up and started the work around 7:30 a.m. My tenant said there were A LOT of workers, maybe 7 or 8 people. This made the installation go quickly. I think it was because possible rain was in the forecast. I definitely appreciate they were completed before the light rain started. Overall, I am happy with my interactions with A Better Way and the installation of the roof. I would easily recommend their roofing services.

Garrrett was great, he was very professional, courteous, and well informed about the products and different options. Just at the same time he wasn't pushy, he didn't try any high-pressure sales tactics or try to make it seem like you have to do this right now NOW. As for price, that's going to depend on the size of your project and a whole bunch of different variables. Personally, I had three of the national, premium custom-made window, replacement companies come out and one regional company to quote the price. In my case as of doing this project. I found window world to be very competitive in their pricing, especially considering their excellent lifetime warranty. After I ordered the office staff kept me up-to-date on where my windows were within the manufacturing process. My new windows arrived at their facility well within their stated/estimated timeframe. When the installers arrived at my house, direct employees of window world, not independent contractors, or people they just hired for the day. Wes, Travis and David were great just like Garrett and the gentleman that came out to do the fine measurements for manufacturing. They were professional, friendly, and happy to answer any questions. They didn't even mind if I looked over their shoulder, a little bit, just out of curiosity of how all this worked. Now the windows look amazing, it just changes how each room and the whole house looks. I hope to not do this project over again anytime soon. But if I do find my myself needing new windows, I'll definitely give window world a call.
