Visited for the Winter Wonderland on a sunday afternoon. Was my first time back in a number of…read moreyears, but I believe this is their first year doing a winter themed event, which was nice but fell just a bit short. When we arrived for our window, we were told that the ice rink was closed, which in turn was that entire side of the park (including axe throwing) so they gave us vouchers for meeting Santa with photos instead, which was a big plus. My kids loved the train ride and bounce houses, but it was way too cold for extended bouncing. Because we were there for open (4:15pm) they were just starting getting the fire pits going, but was not thrilled to see them toss in a pile of wood with the plastic bag included and burn everything. The haunted house was converted to a "journey to the North Pole" with the mirror room, which was fun for the littles but I could only walk through it so many times. There were a number of characters in costume walking around and interacting with the kids, which was a highlight for mine. Am I glad we went? Yes. Would I go back? Probably not. Would recommend if you get a coupon code or a discount some way.

The houses were very fun and the actors working it seemed to be very dedicated. Specifically two of them (posted below in the pictures). My favorite haunts were the clown house and asylum with my only gripe being that they were a little on the shorter side :( I think going on a weekend would be a little better as far as how many actors will be working but this was great for what we wanted. We all had a lot of fun and it being my first haunt experience it was the perfect way for me to dip my toes! The guy in the cloak pictured with my friend deserves a huge raise and I hope he works on the big $ days because he was so dedicated and really made our experience fun and scary!! I wish we got his name! Additionally the creepy guy working the front of the haunted mansion also deserves a raise! He was the first scary guy we saw and he was absolutely terrifying!

3 stars for the polite and respectful staff. Lost stars…read morebecause honestly it didn't seem worth the cost. The advertisement that you see online are nothing even close to what you're going to experience on site. We paid for four adults and two children, and the only thing my kids were able to do was a bounce house and a slide, a small Funhouse that was certainly painted over a little bit from the Halloween attraction.. and a 90 second train ride from the Funhouse to the front gate and back. My kids didn't love the fact that you can see a bus filled with skeletons behind the bounce house.. and we weren't hugely thrilled with the projection of Elf on a ripped up projector screen. We watched an employee start a fire in the pit with the plastic bag from the logs , and the ice rink was closed off for the day. We were able to meet Sanna, which was nice, but overall I don't think this was worth the money and will likely not be returning.

Was told the axe throwing is only in October even though they advertised it as Santa's axe throwing. Shipwreck tavern was mediocre at best and way overpriced. I'm a Christmas girl. This was very disappointing and horrible. Will never return. There was no Santa clause as advertised good thing I didn't upgrade my ticket to include Santa for an extra 10 dollars and admission was almost 30 bucks per person to do absolutely nothing. Horrible. Don't ever go there you will regret it as much as me and my family do. I'm giving 1 star because there's no option for zero.

Science Museum of Long Island on Plandome road in Manhasset is a place to visit on a nice day…read more Good for the family. Use GPS as there are some winding hilly roads to get there. Follow the signs. Thereis parking to the side of the main house. This visit had a tour of plants . There is a pond, fire pit and picnic tables throughout the area.it is a nature preserve park with many native plants along with some for sale. I suggest wearing a hat and sunscreen. While there are paths, sturdy shoes or work boots are good too along with a bottle of water. I did sera sign for bathrooms as well. They have a compost pile on the side.if you happen to have peelings from vegetables feel free to drop them off on your visit and learn how they make black gold for the soil.

We had a group of about 15 Cub scouts there finishing the ferns and animal related topic badge. The lady who gave a lesson about how to track or discover animals around us during our daily life, but the lesson was in a small room with no AC. The boys were not interested in the discussion at all. The session was informative to the parents, but the lady seemed unable to handle younger kids. We then took a nature walk outside and the boys were very into the hike. The trail was clearly marked and easy to access by foot. Parking lot was relatively small. Overall it was an okay experience.

We enjoyed the Taylor Swift visit and songs, lip gloss making, cupcakes and tote decorating activities! Her suggestion on food choice via a nearby vendor was also perfect for the occasion. Overall, the venue/space was spacious, the staff were helpful and warm, and guests had a wonderful time! Thanks to Karrie and all her team. Highly recommend (esp the 360 camera!).

Everyone in attendance had a wonderful time crafting (we chose stuffed animal puppies, complete with hearts, collars, and tshirts, as well as lava lip glosses). The store is gorgeous, clean and sophisticated, and the staff that helped the kids craft that day were friendly and knowledgeable. It was also great that the parking lot was nearby and covered (it was raining heavily that day - but we didn't get wet at all!) I highly recommend Let's Craft for your next kids birthday party or ladies night out... I will surely go back!!!
