I'd consider this a hidden gem located towards/passed downtown. It's a few extra turns and you can't miss the blue colored building. It's a small place but they serve sandwiches and coffee. I ordered the breakfast sandwich. I thought it was delicious. As an added bonus, it's not greasy at all. The coffee was delicious, too. It had a great flavor (I drink black coffee). The hostess/owner (?) was extremely friendly. They made the food fresh and quick. Overall, my experience was great. The food and coffee were good. It's a small place, but their staff is friendly. I stopped in this morning before traveling home from a business trip. I ordered the Grandma's Hash and a flavored latte. The eggs were cooked perfect, and the hash had perfect seasoning and the potatoes were crispy. This is a sweet little cafe to visit in Burley. The cafe was clean and the food was hot and fresh. We got stuck in town with our dog overnight because of car troubles. Nostalgia allowed us to bring our dog into the restaurant, fed her, gave her water, and fed us. They did all this with kindness and compassion. We got two scrambles for us that were perfect. Not too heavy, just the right amount of food, well seasoned and balanced. Yummy! They offer a great array of breakfast burritos and pastries if you're hungry in the morning, along with sandwiches and salads for lunch. The primary appeal here, though, are their great drinks. They have a huge menu of espresso drinks and they brew some amazing coffee. They use premium Dawson Taylor coffee that's roasted up in Boise and all of their drinks are hand crafted by their baristas and taste absolutely perfect. I got a piece of banana bread that was baked from scratch first thing that morning, and it was moist and just a little bit gooey, with some nice nuts for texture. It paired perfectly with an oat milk latte that had sweet, rich espresso shots and velvety steamed milk. I couldn't have been happier with my drink or the friendliness of the owner, who was my barista and cashier. The cafe itself is a great place to hang out. There are tables for hanging out and having lunch, with little nooks and crannies to sit and read or have a private conversation. The vibe is really relaxed, and there's a back patio in the warmer months that's a lovely place to hang out. Definitely stop by here. Is it a little pricier than a drink at McDonalds? Sure. Is it five times better than a drink at McDonalds? Absolutely. You get what you pay for, and what you pay for is worth it. read more

Got the blackberry lavender mocha along with the Bam Bam sandwich and chips. Place is hidden behind Main Street with not a lot of traffic. The color of the building make it stand out. Place is small but has a lot of room for dining in. Service was fast and sandwich was pretty quick to get out, mocha took a bit longer but after I saw and tasted the finished product I can see why. Burley, Idaho is a small town with only a couple of espresso places. Nostalgia is mostly a delight. I got 2 lattes, a breakfast sandwich, a breakfast burrito, and avocado toast for my friend and myself. The coffee drinks were excellent. The burrito was tasty, with lots of pepper in the potato. Salsa wasn't spicy, but that is to be expected in Idaho. My friend loved her sandwich. Two things to take away the 5th star: (1) the avo toast was a bit small for the price, only a single slice of bread & placed in the bag so the avo stuck to the paper. And (2) a male staff member (owner?) was rude & sexist to his female coworker (co-owner?). He looked right at me and said something about a squawking hen or something like that. We stopped into this cute cafe on our way to Cascade Lake in Idaho. They have several nice sitting areas including an outdoor patio complete with gardens growing vegetables and strawberries! We picked up some fresh coffee beans that they ground for us so we could use them right away on our vacation. We enjoyed a cold brew coffee and my husband said the breakfast burrito tasted wonderfully made from scratch with a delicious sauce. The staff were so friendly and helpful and if we had more time there was a neat non profit thrift store next door we would have liked to explore! read more

My favorite place to eat a healthy homemade meal. Summertime is sandwiches and salads. Fall and winter they make the most wonderful soups. Today I had vegetable curry. Hit the spot. They even make their own crackers! A favorite is roasted red bell pepper soup! Yum! Try a scone or sometimes homemade banana bread. I really been dying to try this place. I'm a huge coffee lover and my husband and I do not like the big chain coffee places generally like Starbucks. We definitely love the cute little small local coffee shops. I finally got a chance to come try this place. There has been many mornings I've wanted to try it but they actually open a lot later then most coffee shops I've ever been too. 7:30 so if your someone who wants to grab coffee before you go to work might not be able to here. I got a blended ice coffee and so did my husband. We are definitely big fans of blended coffees over everything else. So we are pretty particular about our blended coffee. When I got them they were very runny and nothing of what a blended coffee should be. Coffee tasted pretty good though. We also got some scones which I was pretty excited about and I enjoyed my cranberry orange scone where my husband said that it was bland. I found the scone prices to be pretty high. Walking about getting two tiny little scone and two drinks not even being large drinks and spending $20 was kinda like ouch. Generally when I go to little coffee shops like this they are more affordable then your Starbucks. Overall the building is extremely cute and it definitely has that little cute local coffee shop feel but I just my visit to be nothing special and to ride home about.
