The setup of this camp allows children to really take ownership of their day, from what they choose to play, to when they eat a snack, to who they spend their time with. There were multiple staff members assigned to conduct the party. First they took the kids to basket ball courts where they did some relay running, played dodgeball and then did rope tug wars. They took the kids to fountains for water break few times. After the activities, the kids went back to party room where they were served pizzas, fruits, cheese platter, juice and sodas. And the programs and productions that get put together, choreographed, and performed are just truly amazing. It's been tough to see local community theater productions after watching what Camp Broadway is able to arrange in much shorter periods of time. I like the ensemble nature of the performances as well. The kids are able to learn and perform on equal footing without imbalances in stage time or stress over roles and stage time. And as I mentioned above, it's amazing what these kids are able to do. We're big fans of Camp Broadway - highly recommend if your kids are interested in theater.
