She is very supportive of parents, not only academically but also on important issues affecting today's children, such as healthy technology use, screen time, and online safety. The school also has an amazing Parents Club, and the principal works closely with parents to create a welcoming and engaged community. There are many opportunities for families to volunteer and participate in school activities, making everyone feel like they are part of something special. Academically, the school places a strong emphasis on building solid foundations, especially in reading and math, while also teaching strong moral values such as kindness, respect, responsibility, and integrity. Unfortunately, my impression of it does not match their enthusiasm. Although his teacher (Ms. Sarah) did follow some Montessori practices, it is just way too Roman Catholic for me. As I understood it from parents of preschool alums, the preschool is run separately from the K-8 school. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. As a non-RC, I was put off by how much religious education/indoctrination my son received. The school pushed The Church's political agenda to preschoolers!

The music camp was super small but they accomplished a lot and my son, the youngest in the group-- still had a really positive experience. I was actually surprised because it's hard to make a tiny music camp fun when you don't know what instruments you're getting and what skill levels-- but they did a fabulous job. We kept in touch with a few of the students and they were great. We went to the open house for the school this year and looooved the headmaster's speech. It seems like a private school that actually sticks by their beliefs and doesn't only cater to rich parents. I was left with the impression that they have great integrity, and the people there were respectful, polite, and fun.
