I'm normally against big medical practices, but medical facility aside. Dr. John Glynn is " melt your face off, AMAZING!" I despise being medicated for the sake of simply using pharmaceuticals as this great panacea and I can totally appreciate Dr. Glynn considering alternatives before resorting to Rx. I generally do not appreciate being handed prescriptions without an explanation as to why the physician has chosen to medicate. Medication with an explanation is what I consider ideal. IDK. Dr. Glynn seems to be cool with this novice approach. read more

I've been a patient of Dr. Primer's for several years and he's gotten me thru some tough times. He's been very understanding and caring about the things that I have been going thru and I really trust his judgment. I have been hardheaded and a little depressed about the process he wants me to follow, such as exercising and dieting, but I understand what he's trying to get me to accomplish. He's a very knowledgeable, intelligent, and caring doctor. I'm very fortunate to have met him and the staff in the office. I have never had any problems with any of the doctors or other staff members. I can only say good things about them and I am glad that I am a patient of Dr. Primer. He is a great primary care physician. read more

Go see Dr. Brandt. Fantastic doctor as well as just a great all around person.

Dr. David Brandt...really great Dr. with a great personality. Very thorough, and knowledgable about human health issues. Nice!

I wouldn't see anyone but Dr. Primer, I have never had any issues with the support staff, and everything flows smoothly every time I visit. If it didn't, once or twice, I would rack it up as, simply, part of business - Any business. In short, if you want a smart, compassionate, and VERY THOROUGH doc, Jason Primer is your man! read more

I love Dr. Glynn. He really is a great doctor. He knows his stuff and has a lovely bed side manner. I also like that he calls you back himself to talk to you. There have been a couple times where I have not received a call back, but most of the time, very responsive. read more

Dr. John Glynn is very friendly without being overly chatty. He responds thoughtfully to any questions or concerns you have. He always reviews past visits thoroughly before treating you. He is careful and always double-checks blood pressure readings. As with many medical doctors, he may not propose less-used treatments that could be helpful. However, with ANY doctor in the world you may want a second opinion; he'll talk with you about this. I have been able to get same-day appointments if needed, perhaps with another doctor as Dr. Glynn may be out or booked. You do need to be assertive and explain your need to see a doctor that day, which is reasonable. The waits are generally about 10-15 min. combined total in the waiting room and exam room, which typical of most doctors. The 4* and not 5 is for 2 reasons: the front desk people are competent but unfriendly. Also, there is not enough light in the waiting room to read just in case you come early or there is a wait. One concern I have is that I wanted the shingles vaccine, and they are not able to obtain it, but Dominick's is offering it. read more

Dr. Glynn is by far the most exceptional physician I see. He is very sincere, concerned, and thorough. I can always get in to see him quickly, and he returns voice mails the same day. He always remembers past visits and is very personable. I have sent several friends to him, as well as patients that are seen in the medical office that I work in. Everyone has had a positive experience. I cannot say enough good things about him. I trust him wholeheartedly with my healthcare. read more

I have seen Dr. Royston several times over the last few years for a handful of random medical needs/issues/car accident injuries and she is fantastic. Extremely thorough and very easy to speak with. If you're looking for a new Doctor, she's great. Availability can be a little tricky, but I can almost always get in within a week's time. I haven't ever needed to see Dr. Royston same-day, but their front desk has never been anything other than helpful. The lab techs are great, very gentle and fast. I received one errant copy of a lab bill that should have gone to my insurance company, but I called them and they took care of the problem right away. If you drive, make sure to park in the Huron Self Park, you get the 10$ validated rate. read more

Dr. Ross was awesome, front desk was competent and polite. Now the the big however -- what should have been a routine blood draw was attempted by what appeared to be a thoroughly incompetent lab tech. After a brief two minutes of looking for arm veins -- she made one poke and missed then told me should was going to draw blood from a vein on the back of my hand. This is not standard procedure, incredibly painful, and leads to a huge amount of bleeding and bruising. Not wishing to have this attempted on me, I told her I would return some other day. I still need the blood work done but I'm pretty freaked about having those techs touch me again. Maybe I'll take the blood work requisition and go across the street. read more

I have a natural aversion towards doctors, that is until I found Dr. Ellen Ross. She is SO nice. She has a very professional demeanor and talks very matter-of-fact, but she's very easy to talk to, does not make me feel pressured or rushed, and genuinely seems to care. I feel comfortable discussing topics that make my toes curl and my stomach cringe, but she seems to take them in without any judgement and offers great advice. She's a keeper if you're lucky enough to get on her calendar. Oh, and I love efficient offices. This one is great. You're in and out in minutes and there's plenty of staff on hand to answer your questions and get you moving out the door. No seat warming in the waiting room her! read more

Dr. David Brandt is great as my PCP five stars. Their support staff is not so great. Very long hold times and trying to get a prescription faxed takes an act of Congress. These ladies have a work mentality straight out the IL DMV circa 1995. They should clean house on the admin staff. read more

I've been going here for a while, but lately, it's been harder and harder to get in. Their MyChart never works online, and when you call to speak with anyone, there are just blockades left and right. While I love our doctor, I'm disappointed in this place as a whole. It's just not great customer service. read more

Tried to make an appointment with a dermatologist this morning based on a list that shows the doctors that take new patients. Here is what you can expect:the list is not current, you will be told that the doctor you choose does not take new patients, or takes new patients that have already been diagnosed with melanoma. When you will then ask for doctors available you will be given a list over the phone. I chose one on the fly from the list to find out the next available appointment is 4 months down the road. read more

I have been a patient of Dr John Glynn for over ten years. Earlier today I tried to tell him that his office not supplying labs and being unresponsive had wasted half my day - he basically told me too bad and hung up on me....this guy has checked out - avoid him - and his office of unhelpful, and unresponsive people. Dr. Amy Kissinger: My wife and I have both been seeing Dr. Kissinger for several years. With challenging work schedules, her ability to work us in on short-notice has been highly effective. Her medical knowledge is incredible, her performance has been first rate, and I could not find something to complain about even if I had to. I have been sending colleagues and friends to her for years and will continue to do so. Top notch. read more

Dr Brandt has been great. Seen him for about 3 years and been very happy with his partnership to my health and wellness.

I started going to Dr Brandt earlier this year as my primary care. He is a wonderful doctor that makes you feel comfortable. He listens and does not spend your visit with his back to you while on the computer. He truly cares about making you feel as good as you can. I work in the industry and never have found a more compassionate doctor. read more

Avoid this Medical Facility at all costs, because it may cause you your life. I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Dr. Ellen Ross back in 2005; BIG MISTAKE!!! I went in for a "very delicate condition" which would only be remedied by outpatient surgery. I went to see a specialist to evaluate my condition. Guess what? Dr. Ellen Ross recommended that I should wait to have to the surgery because of another condition I had; in the meantime I was bleeding for days before I took it upon myself to see another superb specialist, named Dr. Amy Halverson at the Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Unit, Northwestern Memorial. Not only was she a superb doctor, she also had the confidence & competence to move forward quickly in performing the outpatient surgery. That is what I call a winner; a doctor who is well versed & results oriented. Dr. Ellen Ross was not capable nor competent to carry out her basic duty as a doctor; she based all her decisions by quoting & following book materials, instead of standing on her own & making decisions. I heard through Dr. Ross's admission that she use to work for Northwestern Medical Faculty Medical Group across the street from her current address. Gee, I wonder what happened? Dr. Amy Halverson is a winner on all counts; if ever I need a medical ally in my corner, Dr. Amy Halverson is the one I will choose. read more

I recently went to this office for the first time to see Dr. Kissinger for a physical. It's the only Northwestern appointment I've ever had where I was with the doctor within 15 minutes of arrival. Dr. Kissinger is very pleasant and knowledgeable and I would not hesitate to see her again. The nurse who did my blood work was also very nice. I tend to get light headed and faint, especially after fasting, and she had me lie down in another room and made the blood draw much less stressful. I will definitely be back to see Dr. Kissinger next time I need a physical. read more

Dr. Primer is THE BEST. He is patient, thorough and a good listener. I trust his advice and have recommended him to family and friends. The office staff are friendly and accomodating. I recently needed an xray and was able to get it right after my appointment as a walk in on the second floor. The xray facilities are awesome -- i felt like i was at a hotel rather than a waiting room. read more

John Glynn, DO -I highly recommend. Somehow... he manages to be thorough, honest,to the point (but won't usher you out after 10 mins) and is a genuinely warm person. I have thrown some interesting stuff his way and he can handle it all. 4 stars because of magazine selection!/instant attitude from some of the office staff for no reason. read more

Dr. Jay Hildebrand was terrible. He tried to overcharge for several items during a routine physical, despite not providing adequate service for even the routine physical. read more

Dr. Brandt is the most talented physician I have ever had. I can't believe he doesn't have an enormous waiting list for new patients (I don't think he has one at all!). I started seeing him about two years ago after reading patient reviews about him Yelp. His responsiveness is fantastic. He takes the time to listen and educate. The doctors to whom he referred me are all stellar. The facility, staff, client portal, and location are all great. I feel like Dr. Brandt provides, and refers me to, some of the best care in the world. read more

y husband and I have been seeing Dr. Primer for a few years now and have had enough. A month ago, I called to make an appt with Dr. Primer because my husband was having major stomach issues. He wanted to be seen immediately but the receptionist insisted that his "issue" could wait and that Dr. Primer's next appt was in three weeks! Whatever, we took. Two days before the appt they called and canceled on us. My husband's assistant called back and made another appt the following week but it never made it to his calendar so they charge us a $50 no show fee. I called and asked Dr. Primer if he would kindly take back the no show fee since we've never missed an appt before and that his assistant had made a mistake-he said NO. So, two days ago my husband went to the emergency room with FIVE kidney stones! After he was discharged I called Dr. Primer again so he can be seen right away. The receptionist said his next availability was in two days. I said, absolutely not, I want him to been see today or tomorrow and that I didn't care who the doctor would be. The receptionist's answer was that she would have to ask Dr. Primer if it was okay for my husband to see another doctor in the practice right away and she would call me back immediately. It's been two days and no answer. Dr. Primer doesn't care that my husband is in pain; otherwise he would have let another doctor see him right away. By the way, they do have a doctor on call everyday to only see patients who need same day care. I mentioned that to the receptionist and she disregarded it. read more

This review is for Dr. Brandt. He is an excellent doctor and I feel very fortunate to have found him. He's extremely knowledgeable - anything I mention that I've heard from other doctors or read about, he is immediately familiar and can speak to the topic. As others have said here, he takes his time with you, listens to all the details of your situation, and comes up with a tailored plan for how he wants to try to address or diagnose an issue. He can often quickly tell you why something that you've tried isn't working, which is impressive. One of the things I like most about him is that he is very thorough and he doesn't mess around - if something seems like it might be a problem, then he wants to learn more. In two separate cases where I've had symptoms of something that might be more concerning, he made sure that I had the specialist tests ordered and done immediately. In one case, it led to a follow up test, which I'm very glad that I had. I appreciated that he took the situations seriously, and ultimately the results gave me great peace of mind. I would highly recommend Dr. Brandt - he's a fantastic doctor. read more
