The Manager at NW Self Storage in Canby was very nice on the phone when I called to inquire about renting a space. I might suggest you call to get a space rather than go through the internet, I was given a better price directly. When I showed up with our moving truck she was so sweet and helpful. Do not trust this company! They are a huge rip off! They cut my lock off and rummaged through my storage and there were many high dollar items missing ie;wire feed welder, antique furniture, personal collectable items! Other items broken every box ripped open and gone through. Also had large tool box that was locked it was found broken into and emptied out! read more

I called several storage facilities (please read EVERY storage facility) in the Canby area and from the get-go this place was the most helpful and beyond friendly. I actually decided to use them, even though they were a few dollars more then the cheapest one, based solely on the person I spoke with over the phone. She answered all my questions, was profession while still being warm and inviting. I believed they cared for me and my belongings (and I was right!!). Every time I've gone in to pay my bill I've been blown away with how nice they are and to top it off the facility it's self is clean and well maintained. I've never had any issues getting in or out or accessing my unit. Another thing to be considered, is the fact it's right on 99 which makes it convenient to find and get in and out of. I used a 14' uhaul and had no problems maneuvering through. I would 1000% recommend this place for anyone in the area looking to store their belongings. You will not regret it, I promise. read more

I wish there was a 0 star rating because they don't deserve even 1 star. I wasted about 10 hours of my life that I can't get back but I'll take some more time to post this in hopes of saving somebody else the frustration I went through. My main problem with this company is that I have been waiting for over two months to get a refund for something they shouldn't have charged me for at all. But there's more to it than that. Kind of a long story but here it is. I needed a place to store my boat indoors and after checking all over town with no success got in touch with Hiwy 99 and spoke with Sabrina who said they could accommodate me. I need to mention that this is a 45 minute drive from my house and so I wanted to be clear as to the size and being able to back my boat into it. I was assured that it wouldn't be a problem. Also by the time I got there they would be closed but I was also assured everything would be put in their system and I could access the gate with the code they gave me. (which was the last four digits of my phone number.) So after my 45 minute drive my gate code doesn't work. I called their number and got an answering service. I explained my situation to the woman on the phone and she was very rude telling me there was nothing she could do. Luckily after much pleading with her she was able to get someone to verify who I was and found that Sabrina had transposed my phone number for the gate code. So after a long time waiting I was finally able to enter through the gate. However it became immediately apparent there was no way anybody could back a boat into the space she rented me. A few minutes later somebody came out of the office and could also see it would be impossible. Something Sabrina should have been aware of as well. So I asked him to make sure that they credited my visa back and he assured me they would. The following morning I called Sabrina to make sure that my visa got credited. I explained what happened The night before but didn't get much sympathy or apology from her. She told me not to worry about it as the charge had not even been made and she was the one that did the charges. When I got my statement sure enough there was a $238 charge from Highway 99 storage. I called and spoke to Sabrina and she said she wasn't sure how that happened but will make sure to get me the credit. After about 10 days not seeing a credit to my Visa card I called and spoke to Sabrina again. She told me she wasn't sure why I hadn't received the credit but she would call the office and get back to me. After she didn't call for two days I called her back and and was told they would send me a check and I should be getting it very soon. So another 7 days go by and no check. I called the corporate office and spoke to a girl named Katrina who apologized and said she would call me back. She didn't call me back either so the next day I called and talked to Sabrina again. I told her how ridiculous this was and what a pain in the butt it was for me to keep calling. She said this has been a real pain in the butt for her too. Still no sincere apology for all the hassle and mistakes. Just excuse after excuse. But now she told me she got approval to credit my Visa card. What? She needs approval for that? She also told me when I got the check to just tear it up. BTW I have not received the check they were supposedly sending. She kept me on the line while she was processing my Visa credit and told me that the last time she sent the credit her computer must have been off-line. (Right)That was Monday morning. It is now Friday night and I still have not received a credit to my visa. However I did call Sabrina today about 11 o'clock to let her know I have not received the credit. She told me she wasn't sure what could've gone wrong but promised to call me back. It is now 715 and she has still not called back. The worst company and manager ever! They've unrightfully taken my money and kept it for 66 days now. read more
