Kitsap Transit - Bus Shelter at Bainbridge Ferry Terminal

When one of my cats has an orgasm, a gooey liquid emerges which we call Kit Sap. This has nothing…read moreto do with that. I hope. Kitsap County is absolutely beautiful, but not somewhere you ever want to use public transportation unless you're talking about the incredible ferries across the lake to Seattle. The buses are super cute and nice and don't feature any real issues or problems, nor a lot of people using them to be honest, but it's cool that they service all these little island communities and access all the parts of Bremerton and Port Orchard and what not with these gorgeous buses. My ex lives here, and I used to use the bus regularly when coming to surprise her. The ferries are the main highlight of the transit system though and they're not too expensive, and definitely keep the community in touch with Seattle, rather than having to drive all the way around the Puget. With 4 million or so passengers a year it's definitely pretty awesome for the county. It's mainly out of Bremerton but can connect to all the other cities in this part of the world. One of my favourite parts of the world for that matter.

Kitsap Transit is the public bus company for Kitsap County. They have a number of routed buses, as…read morewell as an on-demand shared ride service in which you can request a ride and be dropped almost anywhere within the service map. My primary use of Kitsap Transit is to travel from Bainbridge Island to Poulsbo. The bus schedule for this route is limited as it only runs once a hour. It does not take in consideration the ferry schedule to Bainbridge Island. Unfortunately, I learned this the hard way as I missed my connecting bus to Poulsbo due to the delay and had to wait another hour for the next one. In returning to Bainbridge Island, I did also have to take into consideration of the hourly service schedule. So if you are a tourist traveling from Seattle and checking out Kitsap County using Kitsap Transit and the ferry, you will need to have a strong sense of time management. Also, another negative with Kitsap Transit is they don't have bus service on Sundays. Though that is changing as the Bainbridge Island to Poulsbo route will offer Sunday service soon. While I wish Kitsap County would have better public bus service, I think this is the best that can be expected given the relatively low ridership compared to King County.

They were always on time and reliable. The bus was clean , the air conditioning worked and the driver was friendly and a safe driver. They even send someone from the office to help us at the airport. Our group was having trouble to find the bus as the airport was under renovation and we contacted them explaining the whole situation and they said "ok, we will send someone to help them find the bus"! That was unbelievable, especially nowadays! Cathy Young was the angel who helped us! She was amazing! We highly recommend Starline Luxury Coaches and we will definitely use them in the future.

Hollie was fantastic to work with--she was so kind, responsive, and communicative throughout the entire planning process, which made everything stress-free. The shuttles arrived on time both evenings, and everything ran seamlessly. It was such a relief to know our guests were in good hands and could get to and from the events safely and comfortably. We couldn't be happier with the service and would highly recommend Starline to anyone looking for reliable and professional transportation for their event!

Great option from Seattle to Crystal…read more Two recommendations: 1. Clarify pick up location in e-mail. There were two addresses for the Downtown Seattle pickup. I was lucky to be at the right one, but I was 2 minutes from walking to the next address when I did not see the bus. 2. We left at 415pm from Crystal. We waited for other passengers. I don't mind waiting, but I thought it was unfair for those who returned to the bus on time. I recommend just changing the departure time to 430pm. Crystal closes at 415pm. Not to mention that we had to sit in traffic for an additional hour in the morning, so that was a total of 75 minutes that I missed on the snow. The bus is still very convenient if you don't have a car and it is only you for the day.

None of the outlets nor USB ports worked, nor did the fan controls overhead. The slight draft through the vent and the broken seal around the windows sufficed. Our bus carried only five passengers, we spaced ourselves apart, and fortunately nobody nuked a big one. Most of the window gaskets squeaked, annoyingly, and one showed a visible gap. I did think, a window could fall out, and thus would not reach Vancouver on schedule. They couldn't even properly adjust the large LED clock, still set on Standard Time and a few minutes late. Litter left and scattered from the previous trip tells me either nobody cleaned the bus in Seattle, where we originated, or they were given so little time or otherwise cleaned it poorly. I wouldn't have known about MTRWestern had Flixbus not contracted them for the codeshare to Vancouver. Nor would i have otherwise chosen them. They ran the worst, dirtiest, and least maintained bus i've ever ridden.

Absolutely AWFUL experience, I just sent en email to these people regarding my experience today so…read moreI will just copy and paste it. Hello there, my name is Nic, I just recently sailed with princess cruises who utilized your services as a form of transportation from the cruise dock to Seattle/Tacoma airport this morning around 8-9AM. It was me, my girlfriend, and her mother who is elderly. Let me start by saying wow, what an absolute disappointment, from someone who works at a resort and understands all aspects from safety to hospitality, this was a massive safety violation on all ends and very unprofessional. This was also my first time sailing ever. Our bus loaded and was blowing HOT AIR the entire trip BACK to the airport with ZERO ventilation, I want you to keep in mind there is A YOUNG BABY IN A CAR SEAT ON THIS BUS, AND A VERY LARGE AMOUNT OF ELDERLY ON THIS BUS. At first we thought maybe the air conditioning was warming up or that it would get cold eventually, about 10 minutes into the drive NUMEROUS people started vocally complaining to our driver, in which she did absolutely nothing about. She did NOT TURN OFF CONSTANT HOT AIR IN A BUS WITH NO VENTILATION. There was no safety announcements of any kind departing on this bus as well, nothing. This bus should NOT have been in service to begin with, you're telling me you can't tell when the air conditioning is broken on a bus when driving it back from the airport to the dock? She finally decided to listen to us AS WE ARE PULLING INTO THE AIRPORT PARKING LOT, and then after what did she do? SHE TURNED IT ON AGAIN! Every single patron in this bus went off on her and the lady with a baby in a car seat ran off the bus for the safety of her own child, who can NOT willingly stick up for themselves. The bus driver was SCREAMING back at us stating that we could not unload until everything on the bottom of the bus was unloaded, which I completely understand, however. HER TONE WAS AWFUL AND RUDE AND SHE WAS ACTING LIKE IT WASNT HER FAULT THAT SHE KEPT THE HOT AIR COMING THE WHOLE RIDE. And at this point, I felt like many peoples safety were at risk, and this was the complete opposite of hospitality. I did not catch the drivers name as she ran off the bus as quick as she could and just threw up her hands in a rude manner walking away from the bus. I did take pictures of the bus number and the back of the bus that has the license plate # and other information. I will never ever ride on a bus from this company again, it's very clear to me your drivers lack self awareness for their patrons' safety and it's not in their best interest. Thanks for ruining my travel day, now I will always remember my Alaskan cruise by something as small as this. I am VERY sure I will not be the only person sending emails regarding this issue that happened this morning.

I was worried that if i used a rideshare service a driver might not be available and prompt so early in the morning. Excellent service - clean car, plenty of luggage space, friendly and competent driver, and I called to book less than 24 hours the day before. Great peace of mind to not miss my flight. The person on the phone was competent and prompt to answer questions / give me a quote as well. These folks had the most competitive price leaving from a residential neighborhood in seattle (1/2 the cost of me paying to park at seatac). I will definitely book with them again for an early morning or late night airport ride.

We needed a car seat and a booster seat for our children ages 4 and 7, and were told those would be available and ready when the car arrived. When the car did arrive, we watched our driver, Chris, opened the trunk, fetched a car seat and booster seat, tossed both onto the backseat, then stood by the opened trunk and watched as my husband loaded the luggage. Then as I wrangled my children and kept them away from airport traffic, I witnessed Chris circle back to the front seat, get in, close the door, buckle up, and then simply sit and watch as my husband again struggle for a good 10-15 minutes to attach and secure both the car seat and booster. If there were any legality that may have prevented Chris from setting up the car seat and booster seat beforehand, we were not informed. He said nothing. He did nothing. He just watched. The final straw was the state of the car seat: visibly grimy with dark stains. It looked like it was picked up on the side of the road or fished out of the dumpster somewhere. Our 4-year old became so frightened, he fought us and cried as we bit our tongue and strapped him in. The booster seat was in no better shape, but our 7-year old handled it better--kudos to him. The car itself, at least, was clean. The driving was safe, thank goodness, but the ride reflected its driver's bitter and sour mood. Our conclusion? Never again. If you are a family traveling with young children, take note.
