After weeks of being ignored, I've been forced to file a dispute with my bank to recover my funds. He chose to come to my front door, passing 3 no trespassing/soliciting signs and repeatedly ringing the doorbell while staring right at the no trespassing/soliciting sign. He then decided to lick his finger and smudge the camera before walking away. Weird, but I thought this was the end of the visit and went back to my work. When the door was not answered he took it upon himself to walk up our driveway and squeeze himself between our fence and garage, at which point he's in our backyard without our permission. This triggered an alarm on my security system, so I went outside to confront him and asked him WTF he was doing in my back yard. He proceeded to yell and insult me, accusing me of being a mean person, etc. Then started yelling "F&*# YOU!" when I spoke. I continually told him to leave, as I wasn't in the mood for a debate after he knowingly trespassed and then acted hostile when confronted. Why he thought he had any right to argue with a homeowner after they have trespassed him or that he had any right to let himself into our back yard in the first place is beyond comprehension. This is all while he is wearing his company uniform with his company truck sitting out front. What hubris! After telling him to leave the property a half dozen times I advised him that if he didn't leave I'd call the cops, and if he came back and wouldn't leave I'd drag him out myself, and then call the cops again. At this point Joe did leave the property. But he needed to make his final stand and went to the neighbors right of way next to my driveway and said "Hah! You can't do anything about it now! I'll stay here all day!" I replied that he is free to do whatever he wants with his time as long as it's not on my property and I went on with my day. I don't think I've ever experienced something so odd from a supposed professional. The entitlement was off the charts, as if he owned my property and could tell me what to do with it. If he wouldn't have opened by shouting f&*# you, we might have had a conversation. I'm glad the security cameras caught the event start to finish, because I'm not sure I'd completely believe it all happened without being able to watch the video! After this experience I know if I need roof advice Oregon Roof Consulting & Inspection and Joe would be the last place I'd call.

We decided to get a quick quote for an inspection and thought it was the best price for the peace of mind. We were extremely pleased with Joe's professionalism, his honesty, and his great personality. I felt bad hanging around while he inspected but his wealth knowledge, interesting information, and great stories. The advice we got from Joe was worth every penny and more. I can say that even if Joe gives you the worst news possible, you can trust that it's100% truth. Nick came in, looked at what we were proposing and said that he would have a bid to us in a couple of days. Being true to his word the couple of days and a bid materialized on my email. He came back out and we made a few changes which he resubmitted the bid in a couple of days. His proposal was acceptable. He told us that he needed to finish a job and would give us a call in a few weeks to set a date and time to start. Again true to his word this happened. On the contract that we signed with him he committed to be completed in two weeks. There were a few glitches that were run into which he took into stride and was actually done in 7 days. We had given him a can of paint that looked like the color on the walls but when he purchased the paint it ended up to be two shades darker. He then went back down, purchased additional paint and ended up painting the walls twice. The fireplace mantle he made for us thrilled both my wife and myself, matching exactly what we had pictured. I do plan on having him return to do another project we have planned.
