Also most staff is completely two faced to the students. My grades have been suffering due to the shitty teachers at this school. One of my teachers even threatens to smack his students. Another one of my teachers tells me to go for a walk when I ask about a grade that was not put in for two months. Not only are the teachers catty but the students are as well. This is my third year at this school and every year our school spirit decreases. I have had several mental breakdowns weekly because of these issues. Overall I would not send my kids here.

But still, the staff and faculty generally and genuinely care for the students, and the indoor and outdoor spaces are maintained, and the students are encouraged to grow -- as individuals and also as a community. The kids are all ratchet, bullying is through the roof. The staff can't really do anything because that have to follow a "code of conduct " giving students slaps on the wrist as punishments. My kid was transferred from Gaithersburg Middle School to here in 6th grade because that school was too crazy. (Fights everyday) to Rocky Hills, which is like fights every other week. I guess that's what happens when you move to a better neighborhood. Less reoccurrence of fights and kids getting jumped but it's still happening. Kids smoking weed pens in the bathroom or vapes. If your kid goes here? Talk to your child, seriously. Make sure they are mentally "ok". This school has changed my kid because the girls are like animals, they will "size you up" and try you. Fight you, and they group together to jump you. I have been up to the school multiple occasions, they know who I am. The board of education needs to come to every school in Moco and see what's happening. If it's happening here? In other schools too!

If had it to do over again definitely not ok for middle school. One middle school teacher never graded work and when asked handed me a folder of four papers nothing graded. They let in many kids with issues without having the proper counseling. Language teachers were some of the worst my child ever had.
