Most subjects are hands on and based on kenetic learning which suits me. But, here in WMHS, I believe most of the teachers don't want to be there let alone teach. They are more obbsess with failing students than teaching. I had VERY High ambitions in life before I entered this dump. I use to be creative, boulder, and made comic books with great stories before my dad threw them away because my grades were slipping because my boring teacher were too busy regurgitate stuff into our heads training us to memorize the material which I will forget after the exams rather than utilizing the material. Watching me and my very talented friends being drained by this place turned us into mi ww3ndless drones. I also notice us Boys are the ones who suffered the most and drop out. The only thing I learned from this place and MD education system is to be Obedient, follow the rules, and work for a corporation. 5 years later after I graduated, I lost all my talent, passion for Science, and ambition. Also most staff is completely two faced to the students. My grades have been suffering due to the shitty teachers at this school. One of my teachers even threatens to smack his students. Another one of my teachers tells me to go for a walk when I ask about a grade that was not put in for two months. Not only are the teachers catty but the students are as well. This is my third year at this school and every year our school spirit decreases. I have had several mental breakdowns weekly because of these issues. Overall I would not send my kids here.

I am not reviewing the school or the education system. I am reviewing the tennis courts…read more I did go to this school, but looking back, it was insignificant in terms of my overall education. It is highly dependent on the quality of teachers and the MCPS system. What I can say is that it was fine. I am still alive. So, the tennis courts. This place is tucked away far inside neighborhoods. You would have to drive specifically to this place to reach the courts. It is usually filled on the weekends and it has 6 courts. Not all of them are in good condition, so you would have to arrive early. They do have a wall for practicing and a place where you can pick up balls if you hit it over the wall. If you want to risk parking your car in that direction, go ahead. I tend to park a tad farther. They have plenty of parking when school is not in session. So much parking that driving schools tend to use this parking lot for driving practice. I tend to see them driving around in circles or parallel park. Anyways, the courts have been good. The ones closer to the woods have fallen leaves so I tend to focus on the ones closer to the gate. They have a track for running and basketball courts close by so really it has a lot of outdoor activity type things to do. Do be careful coming here. The speed limit is low to get through the neighborhoods. There are plenty of speed bumps to remind you of that and a police officer tends to wait at the pool parking lot.

There is always at least one or two people there so no need to feel like you'll be all alone. Plus there are coaches and students around if you happen to be there after school on a weekday. If you need a nice track to run on, definitely check out this one.
