When walking down the halls of Chantilly, you can clearly feel a magical energy circulating throughout the minds and halls of the school. Its this magical energy that i'm addicted to. There is no better feeling than that of walking through the threshold of this exquisite building, going from class to class I practically feel like i'm floating! Now, I may be a little biased, but Mr. Bennett (who teaches multiple computer tech classes in the Chantilly academy) is a master when it comes to teaching. You know how when you were little and your mom had to hide vegetables in your food or else you wouldn't eat them, well Mr. Bennett does this with his in class material. I highly recommend that you come to Chantilly! You're going to love the way you learn!!

My daughter goes here. Its a very small school for what I'm used to in this area. The cafeteria…read moredoubles as the auditorium and, I believe, the gym. The admins and teachers all seem wonderfully pleasant, and the kids that leave in the afternoon when I go to pick up mine all seem very happy. The assistant principal is especially sweet; I speak to her briefly most mornings. The school does seem a bit iffy on extracurricular activities. There are some; my daughter is currently in an after school art program. However, availability seems to be intricately tied to the husband/wife led PTO's funding and approval. This seems to lead to a lot of talking about activities, but little response when asked for details. We tried to volunteer for a host of activitiesast year, but never heard back. Perhaps if we went to more PTO meetings, that might change, but the one I did go to left me feeling as though the open policy was one of "come in and see how we do things," rather than "come in and participate." I don't know how common this is. We had PTAs when I grew up. Still, the school itself shows a lot of promise. I'm pleased as punch that they still provide art, music, and PE in this day and age. I feel safe sending my daughter in each morning, and even try to volunteer whenever I can.

My son went to Seldens Elementary, Belmont Middle and Riverside. He's driven, self motivated, focused on his future and doing all he can to make it happen and succeed. I did some things to help him (early LEGOs, physics kindergarten app, mathnasium to help with math, steered him to be with kind, forward moving friends) but the rest is the school. Overall he's more than ready for college. Adults are impressed how well he speaks with them. He has a great work ethic and is more than ready for the AI future. He has about 25 friends who are similar (1550 SAT, 4.4GPA range.) They're all friendly, kind, driven, helpful, cheer each other on and have a purpose. I was the bumper rails while the school drove him (and his friends) to the finish line. Well done Riverside!!!

Some items on the menu are a personal favorite such as noodles and their Arnold Palmer. My only complaint with the establishment is the service.
