Factor meals or other meal delivery programs are a better option and heaps cheaper if you're on keto or whole 30. While the food is okay, and if you're looking for last-minute prepared meals if you're on whole 30 or keto, I can see grabbing something once in a while. I love these meals and this company! Their staff is second to none and the company was grown from the bottom up by a local Mom. They only use the most fresh, paleo ingredients and have such delicious meals. You can find your macros online, which is super helpful when tracking your nutritional intake. You can also personalize your meals with extra portions as well as exclude certain ingredients. The quality of their ingredients are far superior to comparable meal prep services. There are so many great things to add but my last mention will be about picking up the meals. They are conveniently dropped off at several locations around the greater Seattle/Snohomish county area. This is a great healthy food delivery service overall. It is simple, healthy, and tasty. Delivery is very simple. For me, they delivered the food every Monday to my gym about midday with cold packs to keep the food cold until I was able to get it at about 7pm. My food never went bad and was always there. When I happened to travel out of town they would even deliver my food to a different gym that had an refrigerator. The food is really good. Some of the meals I legitimately would look forward to because they were amazing (the salads were especially good and the buffalo chicken.. oh man). You do get some bland meals, but you're eating healthy - what do you expect? Invest in some spices and bam, you're good to go. The portion size was also perfect for me (I'm 175lbs and work out 5-6 days per week). Price wasn't really an issue for me. Sure, they are more expensive than going out a grabbing a salad or sub. They're also more expensive than preparing things yourself. But you get healthier food, more variety, better ingredients, and you save HOURS of prep time if you were to prepare your own food. There are so many wonderful things I could say I about NW Fit meals. Pros: - convenience: I hate to fall into the pit of excuses, claiming "I don't have time etc.," but truthfully- I just don't want to damn meal prep on my Sundays off. NW FiT meals does the prep, cook and clean for me and all I need to do is to pick it up! - variety: These meals are NOT your traditional protein+rice+veggie.. oh no! They step it up. I lovvveeee that NW FiT offers amazing healthful meals in unique forms.... such as zoodles and meatballs! - their ranch dressing is incredible. - Their staff is great about communicating with you, should anything go awry with your order. In the past, if anything had happened to my order, I would receive a phone call from NW Fit Meals 5 minutes after an email was sent to them. - Taste is always wonderful and quality is top notch! Portions are very substantial (I'm on the smaller end of humans, and I don't always finish the entire meal.) - I have more energy during the day, noticed I've toned up, and know that my healthy meal is only a fridge and microwave away. Cons: - If you don't live near a gym that they deliver to, this could be a con. However, I work 3 min away from the gym the deliver to, so it's very convenient for me. - Repetition- if you don't enjoy eating similar meals during the day. Personally, I don't think they repeat meals too often, and when they do they tend to be my favorite ones, so this isn't realistic. - Price: Yeah, this service is probably more expensive than doing it yourself, but that's part of what I'm paying for to be honest- NOT doing it myself. Wow was I disappointed. We picked up a set of meals at a Seattle Crossfit and thought the food was terrible and incredibly sparse - especially for the price! ... If you're looking for delivery Paleo meals try Outside the Box (https://www.eat-otb.com). I do NOT work for them ... just occasionally get busy and look for lower carb meal services and preferred that one (also pricey). I was going to use them again but they stopped carrying so many larger serving entrees. But I guess I'll go back to them now. They also offered home delivery - still for less overall cost. read more
