Your first time is free, and after that you'll be hooked! Drop-in fee is $5 per class, or $60 for unlimited monthly, so it's a really great deal! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because they are still getting situated in their new location, and right now it feels a little small, until they have everything set up. I had a medical issue and my doctor recommended to stop hot yoga . I emailed them and told them I have to cancel my membership based on this. They didn't ask how I was only that I didn't call in time so they would be charging me again. They"cancelled" my contract, but then charged me again in August. I wrote another email and they said they would refund. Now this morning I got charged once again! Now, I still have been charged 3 months and still no resolution. It would've been easy to pick up the phone and have a human conversation. I'm sick and tired and they keep taking advantage of me. Think twice before deciding to come here!

Before enrolling, I specifically asked what would happen if my daughter had a hard time adjusting. I was encouraged to register and pay $209. The "official class uniform" was mentioned only as part of a complimentary Starter Package. At no point during our registration conversation was I clearly told that wearing the uniform was mandatory, or that not wearing it could affect my daughter's ability to remain in the program. Today, my daughter simply did not want to wear their uniform. She otherwise enjoyed the class and had a positive experience with her instructor. When I tried to discuss the uniform situation with the front desk staff member with short blonde hair, I was told they could not "make an exception" and that my daughter might not be able to continue in the program. She then began questioning my daughter's behavior and said: "Maybe she needs to see the doctor." She was talking about a 3-year-old child who simply did not want to wear a particular uniform. That crossed a line for me. A front desk employee at a children's dance studio is not in a position to make comments like this about a young child based on a brief interaction. If there is a mandatory uniform policy, communicate it clearly before enrollment and explain it professionally. If there is a genuine concern about a child, communicate it respectfully to the parent. Suggesting that a three-year-old may need to "see the doctor" because she did not want to wear a particular uniform was inappropriate, judgmental, and deeply disrespectful. To be very clear: this review is not about having to wear a uniform. We are perfectly capable of following a uniform policy. The issue is that the mandatory requirement and potential consequences were not clearly communicated to us during enrollment, and a simple conversation about my 3-year-old not wanting to wear the uniform somehow turned into my child being judged and told she may need to see a doctor. What makes this especially disappointing is that my daughter genuinely liked her teacher and enjoyed the class. We came in excited about continuing and left feeling judged and unwelcome. Parents should be able to bring their young children to a dance studio without worrying that normal adjustment difficulties or clothing preferences will result in their child being labeled or judged by front desk staff. No parent should leave a children's dance class feeling this way.

Have you been looking for a Zumba class, but are hesitant to take one, because it sounds like a…read moregroup of Jazzercise fanatics? Do you love Latin music, but aren't unsure about your dance moves? Or maybe you're like me, and you want a way to burn loads of calories, dance your bum off, and actually feel like returning for another workout? This is the class, friends. An intensive evening class (so there's no sweating before work), taught by the best Zumba instructor in the city. You can take my word for that, because I've made the Zumba rounds. She knows what she's doing, has a passion for Latin music/dance (so you don't need to worry that you'll suddenly have country music, or old school rock show up in the playlist), and keeps things interesting. At first, you'll probably find yourself thinking..how do I keep up? It will seem like everyone is super invested in the routines (which is kind of a good thing, as they don't notice if you're straggling along). But the key is in persistence. After a few classes, things get recognizable, and you're able to get a deeper workout with each successive class. Next thing you know, you're pretty sure you're a backup dancer for Beyoncé. And thennnn...she changes up the playlist, and the challenge begins again. But that's what we want in a workout routine--a challenge--right? The great thing here, is that she sticks to dance...none of that crazy aerobic, choppy, robotic stuff. That being said, you will get a very good workout. It will make you want to return. The front desk guy told me that after one class, I'd be hooked. He was right. (He was also right when he explained that the monthly pass was a much better deal than the drop-in rate).

You leave feeling accomplished after a thorough workout while dancing to great songs. I wasn't sure what to expect when I came here. It was a bit confusing trying to find the studio. When you enter from street level, you have to go downstairs towards the Underground Dance Studio. You can either dance barefoot or with shoes (wish they could make a rule about which one because my feet always get dirty). The class starts off with some warm up dances and then moves through different types of styles of dancing with each song change. You get to express yourself however you want to. You don't have to do every single move the same way and they encourage movement around the floor. Thankfully there are a bunch of fans around the room because by the 3rd song I'm always sweating. There are no official breaks so step off the dance floor and get water as necessary. Class ends with some stretching and warm cloths with some sort of essential oil. I can't wait til the next class!

I figured I would just try this place out since it was quite close to my home and it had good reviews. I was pleasantly surprised at how cheerful and upbeat all the instructors are (I tried Zumba/Hiphop and More than Dance classes and probably have been in classes with 5 different instructors (depending on the day/time you choose to go). What I can say is that all the instructors are have their own styles but are definitely wonderful and will keep you happily dancing. What I particularly like about this place is the christmas lighting and the setting that makes you not feel so self-conscious about what you are doing wrong or how terrible of a dancer you may think you are. I admit that I'm not a naturally good dancer and I have a good time everytime I go there. There are, of course, some people there who can dance like rock stars and look really cool when they dance. However, the instructors there are very encouraging and provide guidance what you can do as a beginner, intermediate or advanced dancers, so you can really just do things at your own level and not care so much about others. It definitely feels liberating to just be able to dance your own style, at your own pace/level, and nobody is judging you on how you look or how weird you dance :). After the package ran out, I ended up signing up for more classes and still go there whenever I find some free time.

Coach Jake Furney has been my son's BJJ coach for almost a year now and my son loves it! Coach Jake has been such a positive influence on my son and makes training fun, explains the art well, and most of all is VERY patient with his students. This is a rare trait to find and I'm happy to say that I hope he sticks around long enough for my son to keep advancing in his belt classes. I highly recommend taking MMA classes with this gym, due to the professionalism, patience, and discipline that it offers. We lucked out with finding such a great gym to train in!
