Beautiful spring green Walla Walla onions, hard to find, were available at Paradise Produce and delicious. They also had resh Oregon berries, the delicate gems were just on the cusp of being past edible given how fragile they are once picked. But at last Paradise had them when others didn't. With so many good produce alternatives in Bend, this isn't one I think of often, but AOK for what it is. Thumbs up for the fact that they are finally wheelchair accessible at front here, old location was step up. Small paved lot at back also has accessible parking.

I Just love to visit other towns Farmers Markets when I have the opportunity. Since we were…read morespending a week in Bend, Oregon I was happy that I would get to attend their weekly market. Their market runs from May - October and is located in downtown Bend in Brooks Alley. It was not as big as I had hoped but there was still an ample amount of fruits, veggies, meats, baked goods, flowers, pies, and other vendors showing their products. What I was so excited about was how fresh the produce was. Being a desert dweller, so much of our produce has to travel in from other places and it tends to get so dry. The strawberries here were just so juicy! The red peppers were gorgeous. After we walked around for a bit, It was close to lunch to I ordered a wood fired pizza. Fresh out of the oven, it was just what we needed. There are tables where you can eat or you can walk down to Drake Park and enjoy a great view of the Deschutes River while you dine. All the vendors were friendly and helpful and when I return I will attend again.

My family's favorite Farmers Market in Oregon. More variety than you'd think could be packed into…read morethat small park. Mix of produce stands, small bakeries, pickles, arts and craft type items, CBD lotions, dog treats. Everybody is so nice and friendly here, tourists and locals and vendors. Nice change from the stressed-out Farmers Markets around that have a big selection but hot pavement, the people are usually rude or just worn out. At Sisters Farmers Market I met some great ranchers with perfect cuts of grass-fed beef, they also sell eggs, turned out they are neighbors of ours in Tumalo area. Our kids run around in the splash pad. Wife likes the music. Also nice that it's right across the street from Sisters Saloon (great ribs), The Barn food trucks (good drinks, pizza, vegan bowls).

Danny doesn't always have the largest selection of fruit and he isn't always open (he travels back…read moreand forth to his family's farm in California) but what he does have is always top notch. The quality of the oranges he has throughout the winter and into the spring is amazing. Last summer we practically lived on the various summer fruits (peaches, apricots, plums, cherries, strawberries, etc). It is blasphemy in these parts not to claim that Oregon Strawberries are the best in the world but some of Danny's California strawberries were better than anything I remember since I was a kid. Yum!
