This place is worth checking out. The food, root beer and ice cream are all really good and the new owner is a great guy. He offered to buy our meal if we didn't like what he recommended and came around to visit with tables while we were there. Also was helping bring food out and clear tables. I really enjoyed the pizza burger and root beer. The rest of the crew had cheeseburgers and they also come highly recommended. The curds and root beer went so fast we needed more of both for everyone. My advice is get the giant root beer to start. My youngest fully endorses the ice cream and the others loved the Bigfoot. read more

Friendly, prompt service and good food. A very popular place for lunch and dinner. Easy in and easy out.

Food was fresh and tasty. Cheese curds were great too. Service was fast and friendly. We sat at one of the patio tables outside. Even though it was probably one of the hottest days of The summer the umbrella made it comfortable. They had bowls of water out for your pets too! Gotta love that! Will return next year! read more

Ordered a chili cheese dog, grilled cheese, onion rings, cheese curds, tater tots, and a BBQ pork sandwich. Everything was good, except the BBQ pork sandwich. It had a huge chunk of fat on it. Like 3"x 1" x .5" chunk of fat, no meat attached. Plus another big chunk, about half as big. Of all the "meat", about 1/2 was just fat. Not fatty meat, just fat. Like the trimmed it but kept it in the rest of the meat. Apart from the fat ratio, the sandwich was also sparsely covered. The bun-to-meat ratio was like 8:1. I called them and said it's not unacceptable and I didn't want to want to pay for it. The sandwich was $5.75. I asked for it just to be returned to my card. The gal said she couldn't. She put me on with her manager. He was all hot and puffy. "Come back and I'll make you a new one," he offered. I was already 20 minutes down the road not an option. "Well what do you want me to do?" "Can you put it back on my card?" He repeated what the gal said that he couldn't. Then he said: "Geez how much was it? Three dollars?!?!" "I dunno, it's your menu. I think $5.75?" "Give her your address, I'll mail you the $5.75" and slammed the phone down, all pissed. Like, dude, it's your system that doesn't allow a refund. And your sandwich sucked. I have been going to the Drive Inn here in Webster my entire life, as far back as I can recall (about 1973-74) it has been the greatest since Dan (current owner) has owned it. World's Best Homemade Root Beer made with a lot of REAL SUGAR & NO "corn syrup" or "preserves". My favorite place to eat, in addition to the Root Beer, I highly recommend the Chicken, Cheese Curds, Fries, onion rings & mini-doughnuts. Don't forget desert! My husband brought our 4 year old daughter to the drive in for lunch along with his sister and mother. After spending $50+ on lunch, they ordered ice cream. Our daughter asked for sprinkles to which the owner replied with "we aren't flipping Dairy Queen". My husband asked for a blueberry shake, to which the owner replied "we don't have blueberry and we aren't getting it either." My husband then decided to call out the owner's cocky, very unprofessional behavior, to which the owner responded with "we aren't the f***ing Dairy Queen. Now get out of my f***ing establishment." This is the worst customer service experience we have ever seen. Heard the OWNER drop the F BOMB at a little girl. Over chocolate chip sprinkles. What kind of a person says FU## to a girl. TWICE. Look some places transcend food. This place is a time warp to a simpler frankly better time. Here you literally drive in and park and are waited on by a car hop. The tray is mounted to your window ... you feel like you have found a place like "Arnold's" of Happy Days fame. The burgers are good and so is the Hot ham and cheese. Been here twice in the last 2 weeks. The third star is only for the outside service and the food which is only decent. Both times there I was with 2 others and we ordered to go. The first time we ordered half pound burgers and fries. Once down the road we realized we only got the quarter pound burgers. Second time, once down the road they forgot the cheese curds. The prices are a little too high to justify the lack of attention to detail. read more

Very good Americana/Drive-In type food. Don't expect anything special but good burgers, shakes, onion rings, fried chicken, etc. Sometimes the locals can get interesting though. There was a guy with a "Mount and Dew Me" t-shirt on who had a mohawk and was intensely staring at my girlfriend. We've been going to Northview for 10 years and have always loved the food, especially the homemade rootbeer. This year we have been there twice. Both times were horrible. I don't know what happened. The food tasted old and stale. Even the rootbeer has lost it's flavor. Don't think we'll be back unless we hear something has changed. read more
