We made a call to Lake Gaston HVAC and set up an appointment for when we would be back to the lake. He worked around our schedule and and showed up earlier than planned. His knowledge of the systems was incredible as I was just trained in the history of my insufficient unit I had in place. He provided me with two options of which my wife and I went with option 2. Option 1 was to refull the freon again, which should not be leaking. We bought a new unit and air mover. We knew it was time but we were not ready last year. So, we set up a date and time. We have used Ted to repair 3 yard tractors, 2 mowers and countless other small equipment over the past 3 years. Any time a piece of yard equipment breaks we call Ted and he can usually pick up the broken equipment from our property within a few days. He has a thorough understanding of engines and yard equipment and has always been able to fix the multitude of problems we encounter because we beat up our equipment. I'm from the Washington DC area and wish I could find honest businessmen like Ted; he keeps me informed on the status of repairs when it involves ordering parts and he has gone out of his way to save us money on parts by searching for the best deals he can find. Most repair men would just buy whatever part is necessary and pass the cost on to the customer. He has also been able to come up with some interesting ways to fix broken parts that normally would break the bank. We had trouble locating someone honest to fix yard equipment in the Lake Gaston area but since finding Ted it's a relief to know we have a trusted person we can call who stands behind his repairs. You will not be disappointed with the service you get from Ted. I will warn you during the summer he gets quite busy when everyone's equipment is breaking but he has even been able to rush a job to get at least one piece of equipment running so we could mow the lawn.
