I really enjoyed coming to this park with my dog as there is an enclosed off leash dog park for big…read moreand small dogs. I like this park because the small dog side is actually a decent size with benches and shade trees. However, the last 3 times I've come the dog park has been overgrown and not maintained. There is a short walking path that leads to the neighborhood pool and tennis courts. This is a nice place to play tennis because the courts aren't locked and there's nets that aren't destroyed. It's never crowded during the day. It's a shame they aren't consistently maintaining the dog park because my dog loves to run around here!

Or maybe it's just that I care so much about my fellow Yelpers and I want y'all to have all the details before you visit a place. Watch me break it down: 10 parking spots, two of which are disabled parking spots. Two tennis courts Three full court basketball courts One swimming pool (that closes the third week of August) Four picnic tables and grills One playground One water fountain One porta potty Unfortunately, there's lots of graffiti in this park. It's on the picnic tables, the walking paths, and the light posts. For walking, it's just "meh." Maybe a quarter of a mile for walking. Nice, wide, easy trails. Some paved and some crushed granite. The paths lead you to the swimming pool and the tennis courts. There's more parking spots if you park at the swimming pool area, but I didn't count those. Sorry to let you down. :(

With her being my first,…read moreand nervous to leave her when I had to return to work, the staff was so friendly and encouraging and made me feel comfortable knowing she would be in good hands. I love their use of the communication app and love receiving updates and photos of her day. If there's ever anything urgent, they call so they're sure I'm notified and she has already learned more than I could ever teach her while working. She comes home teaching me the songs and dances she learns in class, has an amazing vocabulary and already knows so many words in ASL that I hope to continue with her. Forever grateful to LODS and their amazing teachers!

Every person there truly treats your children as their own. Ms. Jeanette, Ms. Tenni, Ms. Mellie, and every teacher there are literal angels! I remember the anxiety I had when I began searching for a daycare for my first daughter, but when I walked into Little Oaks that all completely melted away. The way learning and love is incorporated there is something that I have not seen at any other facility. My daughters and my whole family have felt so special and heard and taken care of during our time at Little Oaks and that is a gift that I will always treasure. My daughters have had such amazing hands on learning opportunities while there, including growing their own plants, milking cows with a dairy farmer, and learning from first responders-just to name a few! My daughter and I felt so confident when she started kindergarten because we had no doubts that she was ready both socially and academically because of how thorough LODS had been in preparing her. I have referred countless people to LODS over the years and I will continue to do so even when my daughter ages out this year. If you are considering childcare for your kids, look no further than Little Oaks Discovery School!
