Expectations were high coming to this new school and they were exceeded at every step. Ms. Candice, the school's director, is thoughtful & kind. Her guidance & leadership is thorough and my daughter's teachers (Ms. Letty & Ms. Mary Jane) are nothing short of saints. I am grateful for the staff and the wonderful environment she has been able to experience. I have no doubt the foundation Goddard has set for my daughter will follow as she starts the next chapter in her education.

My daughter attended the serving and serving receiving clinics. They ran numerous drills with the kids to build their confidence and gain knowledge on the sport. I highly recommend checking them out.

Accountability is lacking, favoritism is rampant, and players are unfairly scapegoated. The director avoids responsibility, even going as far as calling the police rather than facing a player she mistreated. Abrupt dismissals, micromanaging, and interference with coaching decisions create an unstable and frustrating environment. A strong volleyball program should be built on fairness, respect, and accountability--qualities this club lacks. If you want leadership that stands by its decisions and supports players, I encourage you to look elsewhere. Until these issues are addressed, SA Abyss Volleyball Club will continue to be a place where leadership avoids responsibility rather than fostering a positive team culture.

My daughter has been attending here since she was 6 weeks and we have enjoyed every second of it! Her teachers, Mrs. Kelly and Mrs. Mukta are such great teachers and communicate well with my husband and I on how our baby girl is doing. Pictures are sent weekly which is a big plus and heart warming throughout the day! Misty and Elizabeth are always on top of things in the front and are always so welcoming and friendly to all the families as they walk in. The girls up front were super helpful and understanding for me at the beginning since I was a first time mother, they offered me to have call-in/check up times on my daughter as many times as I would like throughout the day. But noticed over the years, the teacher turnover rate was INSANE. (27 teachers total, left in 2024 alone and they don't even staff that many). Every couple weeks there seemed to be new teachers. My oldest moved to kinder this August and my youngest started. In August started the largest decline of a daycare I've ever seen, multiple teachers and the best director were fired and a new one replaced her. But with that, firings continued, one teacher was rehired (who had been previously fired for multiple reason, the largest being bullying children), CCS has been pulled, and there's maybe 5 or 6 classrooms actually being filled with children because so many parents have left (rightfully so). They're combining classrooms now because just as many teachers are leaving, so children don't have that consistency of the same teacher. The only reason and I mean the ONLY reason I stay was because the absolute LOVE and endearment I had for Viridiana. She is an angel/ one-in-a-million teacher you find who actually loves and cares for the babies as her own. Everyday I dropped my child off, it felt as if I was leaving him with family and I knew my child was taken care of. Other than that, it's obvious that the teachers are overworked, understaffed and under appreciated. Instead they let him cry the whole time he was there, and out of two weeks of going they only picked him up once. I watched on the camera app (which is very grainy and has no sound) and the teachers would literally just ignore him. There's no cameras outside and I had enough of this place when I surprise picked him up and he was sitting outside in the heat next to the door scream crying and no one was paying him any attention. They said he had been crying the whole time. I literally can't believe it. Pick him up! Nurture him! Help him feel safe! Instead they took away his stuffed animal puppy and just let him cry. Sending my 18 month old boy to this place is my biggest regret as a parent so far.
