We have went to several daycare/childcare facilities in the past few years. Once we found the villages at LeafSpring, we haven't felt the need to move. We have been here for 3+ years and will hate when she has to leave. We love Camp BlueSky in the summer. It was time for my 3yo to leave the nest, and we chose this beautiful school for him to land in. I could not have chosen a better place. From the first time I called, I was greeted with warm welcomes, efficiency, and eagerness to ease all my concerns. I had been so nervous about getting things ready, I had a million questions, but Sara & Gabby happily answered all of them and were so kind & professional! They have amazing communication! I started my little on a 2 day/wk schedule, and we decided we could move him to 3 days sooner as he really enjoys it. We also feel much more comfortable having him there more often. The school itself is gorgeous, they have an awesome view I am jelly! The classrooms are lovely, the ratio of kids to teachers is great, and they have sooo many awesome things for the kids for learning & play. They are helping with potty training, and he's making friends! The app they use to communicate is super efficient & handy! They have menu's to show what they eat every day, and while we have not used the Well Center yet, it seems like an awesome addition to have access to if needed. Mrs. Miranda has been wonderful, and so have the other teachers who help on the early mornings! I'm very thankful that I have a safe space to take my kid, and a place that greets him with kindness & open arms! The pricing is very competitive for this area, and in general although we all know daycare can be expensive, I'm happy to say I am paying for great quality & appreciative that I found something we can afford. read more

My daughters started at LeafSpring back at the end of August after never being in a daycare before. While it took them a bit to acclimate, they have grown to absolutely love it! The entire staff is super nice & any concerns or questions I have had have been quickly addressed. I am able to communicate with the teachers & receive timely responses. I needed a place for my little one to attend after school and Leaf Spring was a no brainer. I have anxiety when it comes to my daughter and Leaf Spring has made me feel really comfortable; one while in their care but also when she is being picked up from school everyday. They make sure to call me if I forget to tell them that I picked her up or has left school early. She also spent last summer at camp and really enjoyed herself. My daughter loves coming here as well she often ask me to come later just so she can stay a little longer. Highly recommended! read more

My boys spent 8 years in Leaf Spring and were held accountable for everything they ever did wrong there... because I know they aren't perfect kids! Just recently, the staff made two major accusations to us about my youngest. Because these weren't the "typical" accusations, as well as not something my son would typically do, we requested proof of the allegations. One took place in a room with a camera, and the other took place with other kids present. BUT, because we requested proof, they kicked my youngest out. They told me that he was getting kicked out because we questioned their integrity. Give me a break. No one is above reproach, and when you make those accusations, you better have proof to back it up. Anyways, if you put your child into Leaf Spring, you are expected to believe everything that comes out of their mouth and not question them at all. I guess it's pretty much a dictatorship there. Honestly, it's worked out best for us. Now that we're out, we've talked to former teachers and parents of former students and have found this is normal with them, and it's not very well ran. Please be extremely cautious if you plan on enrolling your child(ren). read more

Maybe they respond to this review saying that I am confused that they do not know me or in their records they do not have anyone of us, my experience was sad, this location has beautiful facilities but they have staff that is not prepared to work with children, also here they have a rule ; which is when a child has an incident here in this location, everyone says: nobody saw and nobody knows anything. My son in a month came home with up to 2 injuries a week which there was no report of what happened or how it happened and the same injuries occurred week after week and here they only limit themselves to saying: nobody saw anything nobody knows anything! I made so many complaints that when we decided to remove our son from this school, there was never a concern or intention on the part of the school or administration to help us, they are uncomfortable here when parents ask what happened. I do not recommend this place as a parent to anyone, if you want your child to learn and be well without injury, look other school! read more

I just want to add something that officially made me dislike the character of the director I had a minor confrontation with the director because I was sitting on furniture I had no where to sit and I'm having back and knee problems when I asked am I suppose to sit on the floor all day she laughs and says "yes .. model the behavior you want the kids doing" but other classes have chairs and it didn't even cross her mind to get me one she handed out wishlists for what we wanted in our class and everybody still wishing it's been months the kids put a smile on my face everyday didn't realize how poorly I was treated . read more

I was going through a really tough time. My 4.5 year old was kicked out of 2 daycares prior. I was super up front with the school around his challenges. We finally got a diagnosis of ADHD and I shared all my learnings with the school. My son went to therapy weekly and we started medication to help get his behavior under control. His therapist spoke to his teacher to give ideas and strategies and I thought we were all on the same page. Unfortunately my son got into trouble pretty frequently but I thought we were working on it. The school told me on a Friday afternoon when I pulled in that he could no longer attend. Not a suspension, no warning. Just hey sorry screw you and your family today is his last day. I was shocked. At least a week or some kind of notice to help me find a new school would have been helpful. I get it, my son called kids bad names and swear words but like really???? Maybe I'm the problem here but this school completely lied to me. They were not helpful. We lasted maybe 2 months. They just wanted my money, I was just a paycheck. They didn't see my kid or our family as someone to care for. Don't take your kids here. Unless you have perfect angel children. Find someone who actually cares about kids and helping families. read more

Friday when we picked up my son he had the signs of a black eye forming and I asked him what happened and he walked away really afraid so I let him sleep on it and figured I would double check with LeafSpring on Monday. My son was so afraid to tell me what had happened so I asked his teacher if he had mentioned how he was hurt & by this time he had a black eye! she stated that he opened up to her and said it was a kid who attended Cibolo green, whom did not ride the same bus as him for after school pickup and was much "bigger" than him & when she asked where it happened he said at daycare not at Cibolo green. And my son begged me not to let him go to Leafspring anymore so dad and I went to LeafSpring and spoke to Heather whom had no idea what was going on (after we had spoken to Claudia and Alexa who were both well aware of an email I sent to one of the owners Jennifer Hrncir back in December about both my kids complaining that the older kids were bullying them and one had actually shoved my daughter) anyhow I explained to heather what was going on and we asked her if we need to reach out to child care licensing in order to start an investigation or how we should proceed? She then offered to allow my son to point out whom it was and my son was terrified to enter the school so I did not want to put him through that, so she asked us not to reach out to child care licensing and give them a chance to question and investigate. That entire week they kept coming back with nothing, absolutely nothing I had to keep calling them for status updates. Finally the next Monday (this past Monday) I took my son (who's nerves were more calm) with alexa and claudia whom brought him in the office and showed him photos of all the kids whom went to Cibolo green to see if he could point out the kid, then they stated there was no way the kid was out there in the basketball area when Avery was, I asked if the photos he viewed had the kids with a mask and they stated no masks were worn on the photos, so I asked them to walk him through the yard to identify him, so they walk him and my son points to the boy whom by the way is 10 years old, and is wearing a mask, and still is the same boy as the picture, and they state they will question staff and peers and the student (like if the student is going to admit to an assault). Is my 6 year olds black eye not sufficient evidence for them? They call me back and basically again nothing, so what was the point of my son pointing out this kid??? 1. They don't offer to bring the parents in and discuss this issue (if it was my 10 year old I would want to know if someone is accusing him and why) but Heather says that she cannot reprimand a student without evidence- I never asked to reprimand him simply to dig a little more 2. Heather now a week and a half later says that my son maybe dreamt it and is confused with reality that he hit his head on the playground and she accepts responsibility for not writing an incident report to a head injury ( which by the way she only took responsibility because I called her out on since I never knew of such head injury) 3. Heather then says "Feel free to call child care licensing if you need to we don't have anything to hide) Basically this whole entire week she spent covering tracks making sure their daily logs and schedules were all In order in case we called child care licensing instead of ensuring my son was safe.How sad that she cared more about herself and reputation than a 6 year olds fear and trauma of being hit in the face with a closed fist (which my son clearly described). They never once told me anything that would guarantee his safety moving forward nor new implemented strategies- I suggested a buddy system and they shrugged off all my ideas, about being escorted to the bathroom and just gave me blank stares. Y'all take care of your kids & talk to them everyday & listen because unfortunately, nothing will be done to this one kid and others will suffer. read more

This school is the very best and highly recommend this location and the Sonterra location as not only my children enjoy it and have gained much, but both my niece's and nephew's also attend Rainbow Station. The teachers and staff are fantastic and our family really appreciates them watching over as well as guiding our children to the next steps of success. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. This place is unorganized, unsanitary, cares more about the money than the child or parents, owner is cheap and rude, directors don't have clue, classes are small and crowded, and the teachers are under appreciated. My child was in thier so called pre k class but yet learned absolutely nothing. Not even the basic ABC's or numbers! It was all about play and sleep. He entered kinder this year and the teacher can't believe the zero curriculm he obtained from Rainbow. She said it's like he never even attended pre k. Total waste of money! Don't believe the hype they give you about what they teach/offer, it's all a facade. Don't waste your time. Move on to the next day care/preschool on your list. I wish I had. Rainbow is nothing but an overpriced, dishonest, and careless daycare. read more

Where to start... I enrolled my son with high expectations and was very quickly disappointed. My son attended Rainbow station for 3 days and we decided to take him out immediately. First day at daycare pampers were lost, my son was bit and teachers could not explain what happened because they did not see who bit my child. He came home dirty (which he had a extra change of clothes at daycare) keep in mind my son had come from a amazing daycare but unfortunately we had to enroll him somewhere closer to home. I never picked up my son dirty from his old day care so it was all new to me.. but my husband asked me to give it time so I agreed. Day 2: My son came home dirty again Day 3: Grandma and grandpa decide to do a surprise pick up and when they showed up to daycare my son was laying down for nap time (still awake) with food all over his face, fingers and arms ALSO in just a pamper and a t-shirt. His shorts were not put back on. The teachers did not bother to clean him up at all or put his shorts back on. I was furious when I saw the picture my Mother in law had sent me. I called the director Audrey and she tells me sometimes the teachers get OVERWHELMED (there were 3 teachers in my sons room) and they were just standing around when my mother in law and father in law walked in. Audrey said she spoke with teachers and they informed her my son had fallen asleep while eating. Well, he was not asleep, he was awake. After feeling uncomfortable since Day 1 we decided to pull my son from Rainbow station. I called Audrey (Director) to let her know and she automatically informed me after only 3 days attending and dissatisfied, we are still responsible for 2 weeks of tuition. It is already difficult to drop your child off at a daycare and have the trust he will be shown love and attention, this was not the case here. I have tried contacting Audrey (Director) and she will not call me back.. This is so disappointing. I have emailed Audrey (Director) the picture of how my son looked when he was picked up and no response by call or email. Since Friday 9/9/2017 I have given Audrey the time to talk with owner about waiving the 2 weeks. I called back today and now I cannot get a response back. Rainbow station tried to run my card Monday 9/11/2017 for payment after the fact and also I was told pampers would be reimbursed. No action has been taken. Both of my boys have been going to Rainbow Station on Marshall Road full time for 2 years. We started with my youngest in the 12 week old class and now have our oldest in the pre-k class, so we have experienced several of the different classrooms. We have had nothing but GREAT experiences. My 5 year-old can read beginners books, count to 300, add and subtract double digit numbers, and comes home talking about planets, van gogh, and the bones in the human body. Rainbow Station has a curriculum based program that appears to be strictly followed. We have had great experiences working with teachers and administration whenever my kids needed extra attention to get through behavior problems, and are more than happy with where both of them are (now 2 and 5 years old). Everyone in the school seems to know both of my kids names, and there is no doubt in my mind that they will leave Rainbow Station with a great sense of leadership, confidence and the ability to move on to public school and succeed. read more

They are an overpriced, under exciting day camp. Prolly one of the worst run camps I have worked with so far. They make it seem wonderful on paper and in touring, but you do not get what you pay for. My kids private school is less expensive and much more fulfilling! kids are 7 and 9y/o. We will not return. read more
