Secondly, if you need to purchase discounted construction materials, check this place out first. I'm renovating my 1960s midcentury modern home, and I needed to buy some doors. Because I'm fancy, I wanted quality, wooden doors with lots of glass on them. Other wooden doors at my home, I've had custom made. And they've irritatingly cost a lot of money. The more glass that's used in the door, the higher the cost. And if you want to use quality, heavy mahogany wood? That's even more money. So, I visited Lifecycle recently and I found twobeautiful vintage wooden doors, with heavy glass. These are the types of quality doors, that were crafted with the type of workmanship that you don't find often, anymore. If you're like me and you like quality construction materials, but don't like spending the whole bank, make sure to check out Lifecycle.

It's absolutely obnoxious to deal with LBC as a donor. They only accept donations by appointment…read more I sent in photos and got an appointment. After loading my truck and driving to LBC, I was greeted by a completely incompetent worker. They were speaking in a whisper and I could barely understand what they were saying, what they wanted me to do, or if they were even speaking with me. They rejected my donations of 100+ year old architectural elements because they were in less than perfect condition (shocker). This was a massive waste of time. I'll skip the effort next time and send these items to the dump.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Floor & Decor. I recently spent thousands of…read moredollars installing their "waterproof" LVP flooring throughout my entire home -- nearly 2,000 sq. ft., including the kitchen and bathrooms, exactly as their team recommended. Despite being assured the product was truly waterproof and appropriate for these areas, the flooring buckled, bubbled, and began trapping moisture shortly after installation. I had my insurance company inspect the issue, and they confirmed there were no leaks in my home. Their moisture reader showed that the flooring itself was holding water, and when it was removed, there was mold underneath -- a serious health hazard. Because mold is dangerous to breathe, the flooring had to be removed immediately. Yet when I contacted Floor & Decor for support under their lifetime residential warranty, I was told the warranty was voided simply because the flooring was removed -- even though removal was required for health and safety reasons. To make matters worse, the representative handling my case (Matt) was dismissive, repeatedly cut me off, and refused to allow me to submit photos, proof of installation, insurance reports, or documentation. I was not offered any investigation, partial refund, or even the courtesy of reviewing my case. I trusted Floor & Decor, invested heavily in their product, followed installation guidelines, and now I am left with ruined floors, mold exposure, and no accountability from the company. This experience has been devastating, and I would encourage anyone considering their "waterproof" LVP to proceed with caution and thoroughly research their warranty limitations. I sincerely hope Floor & Decor reconsiders their customer service approach and honors the warranties they promote.
