100% recommend! I enjoyed this nice little hole in the wall spot. The staff working was super accommodating and friendly. I was able to try their bourbon, gin, and vodka. I also had this nice cranberry mixed drink that was delicious and had a nice bite to it. I really enjoyed the bourbon the most and hope to return again in the near future to pick up a bottle. I'm not usually a gin or vodka person but really enjoyed both! The vodka would be perfect for a nice Moscow Mule. I highly recommend swinging by this little small business, trying what the distill in house, and lounge around with some good company. There are plenty of great food spots in walking distance and worth the stop in!

Before the pandemic started, I had a really great experience here. The bartender was super friendly had had great suggestions. We did some drinks and shots of things I'd never heard of, and also tasted some of their products on their own. One interesting drink has you eat a weird little flower that tingles and then take a shot that brings it all together. That's what our picture is lol. I did go back for my birthday this year, and they had just opened back up after pandemic closings (July). I was excited to show my friends how cool it was, since we all live about an hour away. Unfortunately they had almost nothing in stock and could only make Dark n Stormys or mules. It doesn't change my review because I have high hopes that they will get back to their quirky drink menu just as soon as they can. The bartender this time around was also rad, so kudos for for quality staffing! I hope to go back in spring 22 to see how they are doing.

I'm not a whiskey girl but the gin was wonderful. Great little spot to grab a cocktail and enjoy good conversation.

I attended a recent event at Northside Distillery and it was such a fun time! While the venue is a little tight, they really utilize the space as best as they can. They offered a variety of $5 cocktails to the attendees and those were very refreshing. I had the mule, but substituted the vodka for gin, and was very impressed with the flavors. Sampling their in-house distilled spirits was really cool (vodka, gin, and bourbon). The vodka was very smooth and the gin wasn't overwhelming in taste with juniper, which I personally prefer in my gin. There were a couple other businesses at the event - Honey Child popsicles and Kettle of Corn - both were so wonderful! The owners were incredibly kind and the quality of their products was phenomenal! The kettle corn wasn't too sweet, but had a great flavor and crunch. I had the chocolate cherry popsicle and holy moly - it was so good!! 10/10 would recommend! I'll definitely keep this distillery in my mind when going downtown for future visits - thank you Northside!

A lot of good vodka and whiskey is served at Northside Distillery. It's located in the Downtown. This is even though it's made in Northside. At least it was at first. They now make their alcohol right there. I had a Northside Mule. It's about $8 for a glass. This is made with the house vodka. It uses lower proof alcohol in these beverages. They sell you bottles of the harder stuff. Of course this is more expensive. The hardest proof vodka is about $50 for a bottle, and some are even more. I liked the vodka and the atmosphere. It's a nice place for relaxing after work with a drink. This is located a few blocks from numerous parking spaces.

Really cool bar! So glad to see these guys get a location downtown and how they've grown! The inside is rustic and has a lot of reclaimed wood features. There is a small bar with a nice menu of craft cocktails. They make most of their own alcohol on site, including the soon to be addition of tequila! YaY! Anything ive tried that they have made is delicious! They do it the right way! My recent favorite was a chocolate infused vodka collaboration with Maverick Chocolate! And I am not normally a vodka drinker! Added neat fact, this upcoming season they will be the official distillery of the Reds, and have a bar at the games! They also will host special events here, so ask them about that!

We love it here! Great local spirits and a chill atmosphere! We live in the area and stop in for a drink on the regular. Stick with a tried and true G&T or try one of their fun seasonal cocktail creations! Or for the purist start with a tasting of any of their made in house spirits, and I mean in house... ask to see the distillery in the back, if it's not too busy!

This is a really cute place. Small but nice and great drink's. So good they are the official distillery of our Cincinnati Reds!!!! Prices are ok the drinks were very heavy on the booze a good thing. No draft choices but few selection of local business beer. I would stick to the booze at this place. Have one and do enjoy.

Found this place wandering through OTR one evening and they were having their Bourbon release. I was not disappointed to say the least. You wouldn't know this place is here unless you stumbled upon it or were a regular of OTR. I did not have a chance to try all of their products which include corn whiskey, Bourbon, vodka and shine. The Bourbon was very good, not a sipping Bourbon in my book but is great for cocktails. I had a Manhattan which was excellent and they make great cocktails with their products. They do not serve food and it appears as if everything they do is small batch and craft made. Excellent find and I will be back for drinks and to buy some to place in my liquor cabinet.

Never would I have guess we would be going on such an interesting tour and having a wonderful meal after the tour in this area. So good to see this progress. Our tour guide was Laura and while she gave useful historical facts she definitely left us with less than a hospitable feeling and that it was a bit of a drag to be giving the same tour over and over. Maybe this is the norm or maybe she was having an off day but if you are busking for tips at the tour it is a good idea to pretend to enjoy your job. Still glad we did the tour and it left us wanting for even more information on the OTR area.

I will take the other tours that you have in the future when I visit for longer times. These are great!

We're eager…read moreto find a top-tier burger place in the area, though unfortunately this fell a little short of our expectations. Decided to split the Silver Charm for an appetizer, and it came about ten minutes later. The onion rings were decent, good flavor and somewhat crispy. The accompanying sauces of barbecue and ranch were both good as well, though both were missing something to elevate them a bit more I think. The flavor was good, but quite a small portion for $10. My wife ordered the Strike the Gold Burger and I went for the Northern Dancer Crispy Chicken. The sandwiches came out about ten minutes after we finished the Silver Charm, which was perfect timing. She liked her burger pretty well, and I took a bite too. The "caramelized onions" were definitely more sauteed, with still a bit of crunch, and otherwise I could really only taste the barbecue sauce, which was tasty, but I would have liked some more varied flavors. My chicken sandwich was... a bit disappointing. Rather than a chicken piece that appropriately fit the bun, it was more of a chicken strip, with bites that would only yield bun. In addition, because the chicken piece was so small, it was also extremely dry, which is a bummer because I actually thought the breading was very tasty. The chipotle aioli was decent, but didn't pack as much spice or flavor as I was hoping. And with only two toppings and a sauce on the whole sandwich, I was disappointed that the tomato was rather mushy and didn't seem fresh. I will say the fries that came with our sandwiches were crisp and well seasoned, and somewhat unfortunately the best part of my meal. Based on our experience, I didn't hate our dinner here and if someone invited me to meet them here, I wouldn't say no, but I'm also not going out of my way to revisit.

Food was pretty good, but the meat on my burger was small. I subbed out a salad for the fries, and the salad was unremarkable for the $5 substitution charge. But it was still a fun way to pass the time and the distilling and horse memorabilia is fun to look at. 4/26
