Well long story short shortly after buying this car we started hearing engine noises. Again I understand the as is part. A week later we decided to change the oil that they claim they just changed. That engine noises seemed to get better. Hundred miles later it's back. Took the valve covers off to find out that they has used silicone to glue part of the casting and rocker arm bolt back it because it had broke. Now I can see if it's something we did to break the car ok but to open it up and see this problem is absolutely ridiculous. Would never recommend this company to anyone and should have looked at the reviews first. Now to spend 4 grand to have the motor rebuilt. Here are a few added photos of what we found once we took the valve cover off. . Go ahead and share our phone conversation when we talked about this as you know what you did is not right

The guy had him fill out a couple pieces of paperwork Then told him to come back Monday to fill out the rest Saying it was pretty much a done deal,so my son was like I can't do Monday can we do Tuesday? The guy was like OK no problem. My son goes back to fill the paperwork out today and the guy tells him it will be 3000 down which is a third of what the truck cost My son was like you told me 1500 I don't have $3000. The guy was like so the deal is off. My son was like OK. They gave him His car back but refused to give him his $500 saying it was for having the car for a few days so you're gonna charge him $500 which is pretty much a month car payment for five days? Total scam Don't Waste your time with them I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau on my son's Behalf Hopefully something is done about this very dishonest business

I politely inquired whether my prepaid maintenance plan would cover the cost of that day's service because I did not have to pay during my previous visit. Her demeanor was VERY dismissive, and she offered zero explanation. I later found out on my own they were simple charges--which was understandable, but I still had questions. Had she taken the time to explain these charges, I would have left feeling more informed and content, not just another transaction. I typically would have let this interaction slide, but the audacity of this behavior left me appalled. I'm only giving a two-star rating because I've previously had wonderful experiences with the sales team and service technicians!

I have spoken to Danny Groves and we have come to a compromise as to what can be done for the issue I have encountered. I will add another update once the issue is completely resolved. Thank you Danny for the resolution we discussed. Absolutely the worst dealership to deal with. Once you purchase your vehicle the service stops there!!!! I stopped in on June 14 to talk to the service manager, Rick Rudicil. We discussed the issue with my window and there were three options on the table. He told me he would speak to Danny Groves, the sales rep who sold me my car and get back with me in a couple days. So In good faith I scheduled an appointment for two weeks later to have my vehicle serviced and get the issue with my window taken care of. Needless to say my appointment came around and I had heard nothing back from Rick Rudicil. So The morning of my appointment I called and spoke to a gentleman named Rick on the Nissan side. I will say the second Rick did call me back 24 hours later with a response. He explained that I could call and speak with Danny Groves if there were any questions. So on June 27 I spoke to Danny Groves about the poor quality of customer service that I received from Rick Rudicil. He explained he would check into it and get back with me if not that day he would definitely call me on the 28th. Today is July 11 and I still have not heard back from Danny Groves . I have called and left two messages for him to call me and still no response. I would highly suggest going to a different dealership, they do not value the needs of their customers.

I can not state how happy I am to have found Zeigler Ford In Indiana. They did not question my abilities of only being able to communicate via/ text/email/phone. They did not insist on me going to the dealer before answering any questions like almost all dealers do in Illinois. I appreciate their help in fixing any problems that came up, and continue to be helpful. I would continue to recommend them for any new used car purchase! From the moment we stepped onto the lot, we were greeted with a genuine smile, and want to help us find the right car. We were on a tight budget, having just lost our Jeep in a car crash. We settled on a very reasonably priced Chevy Equinox after taking it for a drive. The purchase couldn't have gone any smoother. This family owned auto shop does everything right, and I would recommend them to anyone in Illinois, Indiana or Michigan. They had plenty of options for financing, and were eager to help. I usually loathe doing anything with buying vehicles, but this was the best experience I've ever had at a dealership. There was no pressure during the sale, and we drove away with a like-new used car for under our budget. If you are looking, please stop by CAC. They deserve your money.
