Carolyn and her staff are caring and concerned with my dog's health and safety while staying at Dogtown Resort. Carolyn goes that extra mile for all her dogs and their owners. I was out of town and needed to have my dog in care on an emergency basis. With the upcoming holiday, there was a chance I needed to return home early to pick up my dog. Carolyn was at a vet appt herself and returned my call later to say she will make it work!! For those of you who feel Dogtown Resort prices are high, the national average for kennel overnight is more than $40 up to $85. In California, I paid $50 per night! Yikes!! I recommend Dogtown Resort to all my friends and neighbors!!! Give them a try! (this is an UNsolicited review!)

Over the course of all the times we have taken Bear to be groomed, it was never relayed to us that his size was an issue. And then to top it off, she asked if he's on a plan to lose weight!! How unfortunate to not only state an incorrect weight but to imply that our dog is overweight is so unprofessional. What has changed over the year or so we've been taking him? And they're relaying this information as his nail is badly bleeding from them clipping it too low. We have never received any feedback or concerns with Bear until today when we were told they're done grooming him. He is a Great Pyrenees, which is a very large dog. His back aligns with my hip when standing next to me. What changed over all these months? No warnings, no feedback...just attempts at fat shaming. Guess what Gordon's..you guys aren't a vet. You guys are rude, unprofessional, and just downright wrong.

Their failure caused pain for for my dog & 2 Vet visits resulting in $500+ Vet bills. I would NOT recommend taking your dog there. What good is filling out the lengthy forms & sending Rx's in the original Rx bottle (that has instructions on it) if they dont follow instructions?! They accidentally sent Their pill pack home with my dogs things. They hand wrote the WRONG dosage on it & didnt have the correct pills in it for that night or the next day. They blocked me on FB, not a good sign of them taking responsibility at the end of the day. I'm pretty sure B&B is ghosting me. They need to make things right & reimburse me for Vet bills that were the result of Their mistakes.
