It's always bustling with an assembly line of car detailers. My goal today was to get the rock chip fixed on my car! Anytime glass did a really good job and the work is backed with lifetime warranty. If windshield cracks...the payment will be credited to getting a new windshield! David was super nice! He helped me process with my insurance company. Didn't have to pay a dime out of pocket!! By the time I finished with the insurance company...my crack was fixed! It's still a bit visible but at least it won't spread! The gas station store is clean but it has a super strong floral smell. The dry cleaners is located inside the store!!

Last year I estimate that I drove around 45,000 miles total in my work and personal cars. That means that I stop for gas a lot. These frequent stops mean that I get to experience all the good and bad stations and share those experiences with you. So hooray for that. This station is located off of the Oak Harbor exit from I-10. It is much easier to get to if you're headed from New Orleans. Entering is relatively easy, and there are pumps a plenty. Getting back on the interstate is also easy. In fact, This is probably the best exit to take if you need gas. All nearby exits are a pain in the hindquarters. Inside there is a Subway and a fairly well stocked convenience store. It's clean and the cashiers are friendly. There is frequently a line to check out during peak times. So all these positives but still three stars? Yep. The bathrooms here are pretty nasty. Yes they have soap and usually have towels. But everything else is all janky. The floors perpetually have a wet look that doesn't appear to come from mopping. The trash can is always full and the whole place has the feel of a bar room bathroom. Despite the bathroom jankiness, I will continue to stop here since it's super convenient.

I like lots of pumps, easy access, and working credit card machines. This location hits all of those points. I usually get gas once or twice each day. Sometimes I will neglect to do it on my way home so I realize I need to fuel up super early. That is when I end up here. No matter when I have visited it seems everyone else had the same idea so the pumps are often packed. Luckily for me, they have four of five rows of pumps and I can almost always find one open. In addition to lots of pumps, it seems that the people who fuel up here also have common courtesy. It is rare that someone will abandon their car at a pump while they go inside and do god knows what while there is a line. That is a big plus for me as I hate people who don't take others into consideration (I am looking at you left lane drivers). The convenience store attached to this station is well laid out and stocked with most items you would need. It isn't as big as the location at the foot of the Causeway in the metry, but it ain't bad either. Happy pumping.
