It always seems busy, not too crazy, but it's obvious this is a favorite park for lots of families and those that keep an active lifestyle! I got a chance to walk some of the trails, and although it could get pretty hot in the sun (depending on the time of year/day), the shade from the trees are well worth the walk. I went to watch a senior softball game, so some people had difficulty getting from the lot on University down to the ball field. Another issue that surprised me was that the ball field was not very well kept. Although chalk outlines were new, the bases were not securely affixed to the ground, and there were uneven areas, including some holes. This caused some players to fall.
